It’s been 3 days now since the creation of tides. The world has finally found a balance and is now stable.

  I spent those days thinking and planning how I would begin the creation of the inhabitants of this world. I haven't even named it.

  After contemplating for hours.

  “I have decided. This planet would be called "Terra".”

  It's too plain! Terra is the Spanish word for earth. But that would suffice for now since I’m not really into naming things.

  “Nova!”

  “Yes?”

  Before creating my inhabitants, of course they will need a source of nutritions and materials they will need. They can only find that through plants and animals.

  “I don’t know how to create life. In order for my inhabitants to grow they will need animals and plants, but life? How will I create life? Yes, I manage to create matter; the sun and earth. But how? Life is far more complex than any of that.

  “Well, it is easy. The system has a shop. It has the template for different kinds of life. But of course, in order to create an intelligent race, you still have to buy a soul. Your creations can gain intelligence. But it will be limited.

  Shop? Where is that? I looked in different directions but all I saw was the rich, dark brown of the earth.

  Then a blue semi-transparent screen appeared in front of me.

  "Thank you, system!" I exclaimed, the burden of my task suddenly lighter.

  “Welp, if we have had this shop all along, why didn’t you tell me earlier?! I could have made things faster.

  What does she mean by that?! I looked around the shop and examined every item carefully.

  “That is because, everything you can see in the shop are creations of other gods in other universes. This is how they earn extra void energy. Then the system adds tax to it.”

  "This is highway robbery, system!"

  After cooling my head of, I continued searching in the shop.

  “How much remaining energy do I still have?”

  “You have 54 remaining energy left.”

  Oh no! There are still so many things I want to do. I must hurry in creating my inhabitants so I can gain more energy.

  With all the plants and animals from the shop, only one item piqued my interest.

  I have encountered a new word. “Level 2 intelligent life? What does that mean?”

  “There are different levels of intelligence. They are:

  Level 1 - The simplest level of intelligence. An example of this intelligence are the cells in your body. All they can do is interact with the environment. Storing little memories and acting based on their simple instinct which is to live and reproduce.

  Level 2 - Has little comprehension. Stores more memory than Level 1. They can react and has more advance instinct. Can communicate through different means like smell and hormones. Can form bonds. Example: bees.

  Level 3 - Can store more memory. More adaptable. Has much more advance communication. Example: Animals

  Level 4 - Has much more advance emotional system. Has a language. Faster processing. Higher critical thinking. Example: Humans.

  Level 5 - Using the knowledge of multiple beings. Communicating through minds. Sharing memories directly. Example: Hive Mind

  Level 5 - Semi omniscient. Example: Gods

  Level 6 - Omniscient. Example: System

  Base on my experiences, I’m capable of dying. Which means I’m not eternal or godlike because I still have limitations. A god is not bound by rules. He creates it!

  “This indicates that being a god is just a title, and the only true god is the system?”

  “That is correct.”

  I looked at the semi transparent screen.

  I clicked yes.

  You have a remaining 40 energy.”

  Ah, I can’t spend my energy so wastefully now, I must save it up. “What would even happen if I ran out of energy.”

  “Of course, you will die. Your existence will completely vanish.”

  Ah, really? At this point I am not really shock. In fact, I am grateful. Knowing that I could die and will not really live forever takes anxiety off of my shoulders.

  “Because who wants to live forever?!”
