It was early morning. The sky is cloudless, as usual. Soft, warm sunlight fell onto the girl's face, stirring her from her sleep. Slowly moving and stretching, she blinked away the lingering drowsiness. Coming out of her stupor, she grinned. Clumsily climbing out of bed, she bounded to the youngest's room.
"Oi. Wake up, sleepyhead." She squeezed and squished the little boy's soft cheeks using her hands.
"Mnn." He subconsciously pushed her hands away gently before shifting into another position that felt more comfortable.
Pursing her lips, she leaned down and whispered into his ear, "We are going to have a big adventure ~
If you don't wake up, we are leaving without you ~"
He instantly opened his eyes as if injected with a lot of energy. "Where? Where? Don't leave me -"
Clasping her hand on his mouth, she replied. "Shh, don't shout. Wake the others up. Tell them to go to the library."
He nodded obediently and said, "Okay, 4th sister," before bolting out the door.
Naturally, he went to the eldest sister's room first. (a/n - not the 'Big sis')
Gently nudging her awake, he informed her before dashing away to wake up the others.
After a while, the six children gathered in front of the girl. Only the 3rd eldest looks disheveled as if someone bounced on him. It was clear that he received a different treatment.
The 3rd eldest first spoke, "So... why did you wake us up?"
She smiled, "Normally, she should be up already, but no sounds could be heard."
His eyes lit up. "You mean.."
She remained silent, but it was enough for him to know the answer. They smiled at each other knowingly.
6th eldest joined in on the conversation with an uneasy expression, "Let's not do anything that she doesn't want us to do. What if she comes back and catches us?"
The youngest played around in the background to pass the time as they spoke. The first and second oldest of the children are dozing off, clearly expressing that they would go along with what they decide.
"So what? If adventures have no dangers and obstacles, would they really be an adventure? Besides, coming here means you agreed to this operation."
(5th Brother): "Now now, let's not get riled up in the early morning."
6th brother didn't reply, conceding his defeat.
After that, they reached a tacit understanding and traveled to the center of the library.

(3rd Brother): "What do we do here?"
(4th Sister) "Search around. There should be a hidden mechanism. One time I heard something downstairs even though there's no stairs leading downwards in sight."
Not long after, the youngest said, "Is this it?"
They turned around to see the youngest pointing at the weirdly shaped glass-like object on the platform.
(5th Brother) "Atan, I believe that's the first thing we saw when coming here. There's nothing special when observed."
Atan pouted in disappointment, "Oh..."
(3rd Brother) "I found a switch."
They gathered around, and he flipped it. It activated a light source that is directed at the object on the pedestal.
(6th Brother) "I don't think that is the mechanism?"
The others furrowed their brows until 4th sister spoke up, "Do you see that painting?"
They looked up and nodded.
"The light also illuminates that painting even though it is blank. What if we use the object to create shadows on it?"
3rd brother had a slight smile as he said, "Ah ~ I see what you mean."
5th brother expressed his agreement while the others looked very confused. After all, it's early morning, their minds aren't fully online yet.
(4th Sister): "Just do it, and you will understand."
They fumbled around and tested multiple angles before stopping with a painting of a group of creatures kneeling around a sphere-shaped object. Their arms were stretched halfway towards it as though they wanted it and then hesitated.
3rd brother commented, "That should be a depiction of what she told us yesterday."
They turned their heads as they noticed that a part of the floor silently shifted, revealing a staircase.
Atan lifted his head proudly, "I told you it is the mechanism. You didn't believe me. Hmph."
5th brother smiled and rubbed his head dotingly, "Atan is the smartest. But we should move forward now, okay?"
Realizing they were left behind, Atan ran towards them as 5th brother followed him into the library's lower floor.
While heading down, 4th sister smiled broadly, "Hehe, time to explore."
Wearing a pensive expression, 3rd brother said, "Xujiu (6th brother) must have affected me. I have a feeling that we will get caught sooner or later..."
"Well, since she left her secret door open, what can I say if we invite ourselves in?"
Their lips twitched as they recalled her being very meek when facing their elder sister.
Knowing what they were thinking, she glared at them. "What? Hm? You guys are the same. After all, there's no point in resisting her. We will just be beaten."
After shifting their attention away from the conversation, they noticed that they had arrived at the lower floor.
A small room greeted their sight. The colors of black and white dyed the boudoir into a modern style.
The window on the right revealed a bright sky filled with warm sunlight, and various colors seemed to shift across the horizon as if the sky were a color palette. Trees were scattered across the plains, and the grass exuded a vibrant vitality. The warm breeze poured into the room, carrying the scent of grass.
A night scenery was shown through the left window, with the addition of another plant. Its bud which was about to blossom softly illuminated the surroundings with a bluish tint. If they looked far enough, they would discover that the sky seemed to have opened up and merged with the universe outside, revealing a beautiful nebula.
The room itself barely has any decorations, only a bed, a desk, a chair, and a book.
Everyone held their breath as they walked up to the opened book. There was only one sentence written on the first page - "Do you want to go back?"
While they were struck with confusion, Atan went up and tried to press it. 3rd Eldest smiled wryly at his antics.
Suddenly, the word disappeared, and a flash of light shrouded the room. Before they could even let out a sound, the seven vanished without a trace.
