Greetings everyone, I apologize again for how long it's taken to get back to working on this project. I've spent the last week re-reading my entire draft and I'm undecided on how I want to proceed so I thought, why not post a poll?

  When I started writing this story I had planned on a series of short stories that, when combined would be an average-sized book. Llonds goal from his first step into the dungeon has been to find the first settlement and were nearly there. I have a huge crafting montage coming and I'm not sure if I want to end the first book upon arrival or end it after the crafting montage. I have about 8 chapters with a heavy amount of planning and crafting on the part of the MC's party. Personally, I find huge crafting bits boring at the start of a book so I'm inclined to end the first book after the month-long crafting montage but my planned ending for this portion of the story has always been when the party gains entry to the village.

  The 8 chapters in my draft after their arrival are extremely rough and will take some time to rewrite and might even add a chapter or 2 to the crafting montages length. Right now it's at about 25k words and I estimate probably 30-40k words once it's been cleaned up.

  When should I end the first book?
