Chimera charges with a terrifying shriek. The monstrous form of the beast was striking fear to the junior enforcers of the Thrall clan. The magical beast was destroying everything in its sight with its hoofs and tail. Pikey, on the other hand, was both excited and appalled by the approaching danger.
Pikey while grinning his teeth. "Ge't yo'r shit togeth'er and prepar' for the ba'ttle.
A muscular-looking warrior spoke, "Can you believe that, we'll be fighting these creatures once we are knights? I don't think, I will even make it to my graduation."
A guy in glasses speaks while pushing his spectacles towards his nose. "If we band together and coordinate our attack, then there are chances for us to come out in one piece."
Pikey adds, "I'm takin the cen'ter stage then."
Without hesitation, he rushes towards the direction of the beast, leaving others to scramble for position.
The guy with the spectacles mobilizes everyone. Each warrior covers all four sides and halts the charge of the beast.
Pikey bore the brunt of frontal assault, he comes to realize that his strength was insignificant as he faces a strong force.
The impact of the charge, sends him flying towards the direction of the crowd. Spectators collectively lift him up and throw him down in the middle of the fray.
On the other hand, the warrior in the rear was swatted like a fly. He plummets into a wall near the exit. The group's lone mage, the brains behind the attack was depleting his mana and standing helplessly.
It looked like, they couldn't even injure the beast; let alone defeat it. However, Pikey had not lost his motive. Channeling all his power to his mace, he sharpened his Ki. The magic power swelled within him and his weapon. While shouting he propelled himself into the air, pouring every bit of mana in a single powerful attack.
The guy with spectacles was distracting the chimera, with fire missiles.
Pikey shouted while attacking, "Iron Ren'd."
A bang was heard within the Colosseum, the dust was blurring the vision within the courtyard. It was silent for a second, and a burst of air was released the next. All the warriors, that were within the range of attack, flew in different directions.
Pikey thought he ended the beast's charge. He celebrated triumphantly while uplifting his mace and cheering to the crowd.
However, the beast stood up and shook off the attack. The monster shrieked louder than ever with a menacing growl. Warriors' faces turned white, the despair set within them, as they realized that their efforts were in vain. Pikey was drained out of energy, he could only watch the scene unfold as the threat of beast loomed over all again.
They couldn't do anything to the animal now. Despite all odds, the gaelish boy made a last stand by picking up his mace.
The Orc senior who was watching from the crowd, "Yare, Yare! that's why I love romantics who put up a fight."
Orc leaps from the stands and into the courtyard, he tells Pikey with a smirk, "I've got you."
While the Orc says those words, he charges toward the chimera and lifts his axe. The chimera attacks, with its hoofs crushing the ground.
As the chimera comes near the Orc, he closes his eyes and listens to the animal's shriek. The orc mutters, " Breaserker Cleave."
As he makes those words, the animal runs through him. Pikey watching it in real-time sees the beast split into two like a piece of wood, while the blood splurge all over the warriors that were standing by.
Pikey stared in admiration, "How'd ye do it."
The Orc guy answers with a smile, "You have to see the path of axe."
Pikey's respect towards the senior soares. While picking himself up with the support of his mace. He thinks to himself, When will I ever be that powerful?
Meanwhile, Faneel meets Mitta outside the Thrall clan's quarters on the bustling Sinki road.
Mitta asks the wolf boy with excitement, "How did you do?
Faneel counters, "Not bad, for the trial. I nearly died."
Mitta gives a wiley smile, "Happens, nothing new here. Are you up for the next challenge then?"
The young wolf-elf gives a vague look, "What challenge?"
Bach while surrounding his arm Faneel's neck, "Don't you want revenge against those who stabbed you in the back?"
While clenching his fists the wolf replies, "I do, Didn't you say it was the Minsk clan's ghoster."
"Wait, don't rush it. You have to be strong enough to take revenge, you haven't reached the second channel, yet.
I advise you to focus on your growth and build your strength. In the meantime, I will gather information about the attacker behind the ghoster."

Both of them, walk towards the classroom, after finishing their chat.
In Faneel's class, his desk partner was still sleeping, keeping his head down. His long hair covering his face. From afar, it would look like some girl sleeping. However, the slight teenage stach, was there making him look like any 13-year old boy.
Before Faneel could adjust his seat, the boy while putting his head down speaks, "You fought Erik and won, Congrats."
Faneel feeling content with his partner's reply was eager to engage in conversation. Before, he could say anything, the guy started snoring.
The wolf boy was again disappointed, but he let it go understanding his nature.
While he was making faces towards the long-hair guy. The owl-faced professor enters the classroom.
Professor while dusting off the board, "Where were we last time?"
Merida gleefully replies while looking at Faneel, "Mana theories."
Professor looks towards his reading material and continues, "Okay! Mana is the lifeblood of mages. There are two types of mana, internal and external. The internal mana can be called, concentrated Ki. While the mana outside the body is formed from magicules that appear naturally all over the world. Skilled mages can balance both of these mana during combat. Mage tends to give an upper hand against warriors when they can use both types of mana sources effectively.
For instance, mana is like a wood that floats in the river. If it is parallel to the volume of water it will continue to float, but if the density of wood increases or if it is stood up horizontally then it sinks.
Similar to that, there is a limit, how much your body can hold, the mana. If you go beyond your limit, then you will blow up from within.
Therefore, the foundation of your channels should be strong enough to hold the mana, as you keep on increasing the rings of channels.
The Aboriginal mercenary group reach their destination. They are waiting inside the Duke of Sinki's castle. After an exhausting journey, Gord takes some time to freshen up and goes outside the manor.
He observes the duke and Captain Cormac talking with each other. Gord not intending to put his nose into Cormac's business decides to go inside. However, he is called upon by Captain.
Cormac raising his hand beckoned, "Mr. Gord, please come here."
Gord while agreeing from far away, gradually goes toward the Captain while picking up his sword belt.
Cormac, while looking at Gord, "This is Duke Aurelius Vox, who will be taking care of us for some time."
"Please to meet your acquaintance." Gord blurts the words while extending his hand.
Duke while shaking his hand replies, "Pleasure is all mine, Palia's Knight."
"You flatter me Duke Vox, I am a knight no more." The old wolf smiles while scratching his head.
Duke continues the conversation, "I hear that you have a son in the Sinki's institution. I have some connections there. Would you like me to look after him?"
Gord counters, "You are very kind Duke but, I want my son to make his own way."
Vox scratches his chin, "That is very admirable, he will be great. If he can take Sinki's challenges head-on. Aren't you afraid that he will get hurt or worse?"
Gord speaks with confidence, "I have taught him, as much as I can. I think he can at least survive Sinki."
Cormac interrupts the conversation, "Knight, I have a difficult job for you."
Please speak Captain, "Your command is my duty." Gord responds in an attentive position while hitting his chest with his fist.
Cormac conveys in a serious tone, "You are to eliminate a criminal, that resides in the Georgeforge town. He expects to meet the representative of Aboriginal Mercenary, kill him, retrieve his work products, and rendezvous here."
Gord was taken aback by the job description, "Sir, may I inquire, why do I need to take such a drastic step."
Cormac, showing his mean face. "No, you may not. Fulfill your duties that are assigned not more or less."
Gord who couldn't shake the resolve of Captain adds, "Okay Sir."
The Knight wolf walks away from both the Duke and the Captain, he ruminates about what he has walked into. He packs some food to go and prepares for his journey to the Georgeforge.
After Gord leaves the palace, the Duke discusses with the tall and broad leader of the mercenary group.
"Do you think, he will be able to kill him?"
Duke whispers.
While turning away from the Duke, Cormac replies, "At least, he will slow down the attacker, or he will turn tail. We will know, how brave is he or where his loyalties lie."
