Library Dream

What the hell is that Regel guy's problem? What the hell did I do? That bastard, nothing better than a rat, I helped him, and he doesn't even help me back? Also, that damn elf... Wasn't she supposed to be a valuable companion that I could use? Why did she kill me? If I had the chance I would have beaten her to a pulp and put her in her place. How was I suppose to even complete that task? Does any of this even matter now? I'm dead, completely dead. There was no way someone could lose that much blood and survive, I made sure to shut my eyes at the last moment and close them tight, I did not want to see the face of that traitorous bastard. But I can't tell whether I go to heaven or hell, it's always mentioned in the books I remember that you do good things and go to heaven upon death. I never really wanted to die, but I guess I am here now, I don't have much to offer to this god person, what will happen to me? Many thoughts flooded my mind, I failed to realize my head was resting on some wooden planks, I would have expect there to either be eternal flames or fluffy clouds, but wooden planks? I suddenly gasp and open my eyes, was I still alive? Or was this the feeling of being alive? I look around the area, my vision adjusted slowly, after all, your eyes get kind of blurry when you die.

  Cori: Huh? Where am I?

I was in a library. Where is this place? What is this place? How did I get here? The library was mostly made of wood, it seemed to be in poor condition, vines grew on the walls and lights were shown through the ceiling, books of all sizes were either on the shelves or on the floor, some of the books were taller than me. There were even bookshelves on the ceiling, yet the books didn't fall. This place clearly didn't make any sense, I couldn't tell if whoever built this was a architectural genius, or an idiot. You would need a lot of skill to connect bookshelves onto the ceiling with vines, but at the same time, how am I supposed to reach the books?

Cori: What the hell? This place makes almost no sense... This must be the afterlife, right? So this is heaven? I really did die didn't I.

This place must be the real afterlife, no one else was around for now, but I don't see red demons with pitchforks or blonde angels with halos. Do I just get to read books forever now? I walk around the library, vegetation grew everywhere, brown roots with moss on them held up the wooden shelves and wrapped them in an embrace, I continues walking down an isle until I notice something. I noticed a girl standing in front of a large book near a window. She wore a brown dress with a white apron, she seemed to be a librarian, but the moment she turned to look at me, she disappeared into a thin mist, the particles trailing outside the window. The window outside seemed to show a city of some sort, but whenever I got close, the light would get extremely bright and would blind me from looking outside. This place clearly doesn't abide by normal logic, I just witnessed a girl get disintegrated. The city outside may be proof that I'm actually alive, was this my heroic ability? To survive lethal attacks? How boring... At least I haven't kicked the bucket. My attention shifts to the large book the girl from earlier was standing across, a large clock was engraved on the front cover of the book, there wasn't even a title to it. I decided to check the other books around, but they were all full of weird symbols and weird texts that were indecipherable. I decide to look for anyone else around, it looked like a baby wrote whatever was inside these books. My best course of action now is to try to find an exit.

  Cori: Hello??? Anyone there?

My voice echoes across the library, there seemed to be absolutely no one except me, it was starting to get lonely.

Cori: Man... This place creeps me out, I shouldn't explore too much yet, I don't really know this place yet, I might see more disappearing girls.

A hooded figure suddenly walks up to me from behind the shelf, it clearly wasn't human. It startled me a bit, but he didn't move any closer. It extended its hand and pointed to the large book in front of me. The figure said nothing, I didn't dare to ask or get close to the thing. I get up slowly and start inching backwards. I could feel a cold aura around the hooded figure, it was just standing there, pointing at the book, but its presence alone was enough to give someone a heart attack. I couldn't move my mouth, but my legs still worked. I back up until I accidentally bumped into the large book with a clock engraved in it.

  Cori: Oops...

Suddenly, the entire place started to collapse. I don't know what caused it, but the figure that was previously pointing at the book lowered his hand and bowed. The library started fading to dust as the bright light around me got intense. What was happening? The light started burning...

Cori: Gah!!! Ouch!!! Make it stop!!!

My skin felt like it was being torn off.

  Cori: What is going on???

I suddenly came to my situation. I was starting up at the sky, the sun was shining down on me, and I was sweating.

Cori: Guh... Huh? Did I just get reincarnated? So this is how the death system works, but aren't I suppose to be a baby? Aren't I suppose to remember nothing? I wasn't even in one of those hospitals.

I get up, I was on top of a trash pile, inside an alleyway. Why did this all feel so familiar?

Cori: Huh? This feels familiar, I feel like the witch will appear any second now.

This was definitely familiar, the alleyway led to a busy street full of people. I decided to wait for the witch to appear, she was associated with me appear on some garbage bags.

Cori: Man, this is taking a while. The sun is also shining directly into this alleyway, which isn't making this any better...

The sun was directly above the alleyway, and suddenly, a knight walked past me out the alleyway. Something about this knight seemed so familiar. He pays no mind to me as he exits the alleyway.

Cori: Wait a minute... That is definitely Regel! I remember his appearance.

I rush out the alley just in time to see him save a child from a carriage. The same exact events played out, it was as if I was repeating the day I died on. Regel takes his leave from the crowd, which was showering him in praise, I could only watch as he leaves my sight. That sly bastard... If only the crowd knew, I will grow strong and kill him to show him who's boss.

Cori: There has to be another way to meet that elf, there isn't really any other option. If the events play out the same, the elf should be at the stall around noon. I could try to convince her not to kill me.

I could also kill her but that would be disobeying that witch, which wasn't I good idea. I want her so suffer the same fate as me, I want to watch her drag her dying body across the floor. But I need to befriend her apparently, maybe I can find a way to turn her into my slave. I decided to go to the stall and wait out until noon, it would be boring, but it was the only thing that I could do for now to get things done. Maybe i didn't need to befriend a psycho elf, maybe the conditions are just to meet her.

Cori: There isn't much point in goofing around in the city for long, the conditions are just to find the elf, not befriend her, I will just stop by.

I walk for a while. I was exhausted by the time I reach the stall where the elf was supposed to be. How weak are my legs? These legs aren't really as heroic as I expected them to be, but my arms aren't either. Come to think about it, I am decently weak, when why would i be chosen as a hero then? This stupid body sucks... By the time I arrived, it was almost noon.

Cori: Huff... Huff... The elf should come any time soon... Huff... Huff...

I decide to sit on the stool in the stall. I walked a long time, so I thought I deserved some rest. I wait a couple of hours, no elf in sight. It was starting to turn nighttime, I was also getting drowsy, why wasn't the elf coming? Maybe I could doze off and she would wake me up to sit down at her stall.

Cori: Man, it has been so long... I'm starting to get sleepy.

I started to doze off, the slums were eerily silent. I woke up at nighttime, the streets were pitch black in the slums, but my eyes seemed to emit a soft yellowish glow, faintly lighting up the table in front of me. It all seemed normal until I saw a glowing light in the distance, it was decently far away, it was down the road toward where the wealth district of the city was, was it a lantern? What the hell is the meaning of this? Maybe it's just the elf with a light, but isn't she supposed to be here earlier?

Cori: What the hell? Is that a lantern? Who has business in the middle of the night? I don't think these rotten meat bags in the slums would be working at this hour.

For some reason, the air smelled heavier than normal, every inch of my body wanted to run away from the mysterious light, but it seemed to draw me in like a moth to a flame, I felt compelled to reach it. I want to move away, but my body was getting closer, I stood up and started following the light, my mind was racing to move my body in the opposite direction, but my arms and legs didn't respond.

Cori: It seems so... pretty. I want to get closer... to it.

I was starting to feel dizzy, as if I were being mind controlled. This mysterious light was clearly not normal. Now that I was a couple of meters away from it, I realized it was not a lantern but something supernatural. I snapped out of the hypnotic trance.

Cori: It seems to be drawing me closer for some reason, I should back away and pretend I saw nothing. This thing clearly wants me dead or something...

I step back from the mysterious light. I try hard to resist the temptation of moving toward it. I manage to get to a point where the effect of the light wasn't as prominent. I try to break into a run away from the light, but it still wouldn't let me run or turn away from the light. It seems to be draining my energy, I felt tired, but I had just took a break, my legs weakened and I fall to the floor.

Cori: What is this? There is no way something this dangerous exists in the city, right? How would This be allowed to exist here?

I didn't think things like this were normal in the city, but considering I was in the slums, it could be a different story. The light seemed to get more powerful, more bright, it makes my legs so weak. I couldn't get up, I couldn't move, what was going on? I desperately tried to get my legs to move, but it was no use. Should I try calling for help? My body was completely paralyzed

  Cori: Someone! Help!

My call was unanswered, I realized my mouth didn't even move, was m call of help just in my head? To my horror, the light began moving toward me. As it got closer, I could make out the silhouette of a man, he was holding a sword, the bright light emanated from the sword! I couldn't make out his face, but he was approaching at an alarming rate. Was the going to kill me? He hasn't used deadly force yet! A bright light shines in my face, I realized the sword was pointed at my neck, but I couldn't move, I couldn't beg for mercy from this man.

  Man: Die, sinner.

The tip of the sword glows and a beam of light hits me, I fortunately had my brains blown own before I could experience too much pain... Did I die again? Even with that second chance? I feel so worthless, I can't even surpass the first day without dying, am I really just going to keep dying on the first day? The day repeats again, I wake up on the pile of garbage. The sun was high in the sky like before. It all feels like a dream. Was the day really repeating itself or were these just realistic visions? Could I see into the future? But my neck still hurts from the blast of the sword, it was suffocating. I could still feel the burning light from before... These can't just be visions.

Cori: This... I'm back here again... Does this happen each time I die?

If this were the case, I don't even know if I died last time, that may very well just be a bad dream. The light seemed so surreal, it can't be real. At least I hope it isn't real. Every single thing I have done so far hints that I shouldn't go after the elf. I don't give a shit about the witch anymore, she has done nothing for me, so I would do nothing for her. I have infinite time to find the elf after all. If she is going to give me vague instructions, I will find loopholes to avoid doing them.

Cori: I shouldn't waste my time on this bullshit... Those "dreams" were too realistic to be discounted. I may be in a loop to travel back here whenever I die... I will just get the hell out of here and live my own life. I don't need to be the chosen one if I don't have any cool gifts or powers... I should probably just give up on being the chosen one. Screw this world for all I care.

I throw my knife and mask on the floor. I don't want any reminder of the witch at all.

Cori: If those dreams tell me I shouldn't be involved, then so be it, there are crazy bastards out there trying to kill me.

I decided to just leave everything behind... I'll think of it as a dream that never happened... right? There is no way I have died twice so far in such strange ways. Both involved my poor neck being destroyed.

Cori: What do I even do... I am broke, and I have my dignity, so I won't beg for food... There has to be some work, right? Maybe, I can ask around?

There apparently isn't any work for someone who looks like they have been on the streets for at least 2 years, or someone without pants. I eventually give up and decide to waste my time around the city.

This book was originally published on Royal Road. Check it out there for the real experience.

Cori: *sigh* Is finding a job really this hard? Do I really look that suspicious? But there may be another method.

I could turn to thievery for easy cash, I probably need the money more than the citizens of this lavish city. Stealing from normal people would definitely get me in trouble, I have to go after people with less perception... I would steal things off of elderly people, but it gave nothing but useless things like trinkets or junk. I even found a letter, but I didn't bother reading it and threw it away. I eventually make a lucky break and steal a purse with money inside, but at this time, it was the end of the day, and the sun was setting. With the money from the purse, I manage to buy myself a room at an inn for 1 night. I could stay 2, but I want to save money so that I don't need to work as hard tomorrow to get food. I could do this all day, steal money from those rich old people, and buy myself good things to eat. Since they are old, they can't remember what they brought along with them easily.

Cori: Hehehe... Almost too easy, this is like an infinite money-making method, just steal from old people and you're set! They are going to die soon anyways, the money would definitely be better in my hands.

After this long day, I deserve some rest. Tomorrow I will solve my hunger problem, I just need to sleep for now, I was always tired for some reason, my respiratory system isn't heroic either. Dang it...

Cori: Man, crime really does pay, as long as you don't get caught... But why should I be the chose one? I have no powers, no past, no friends. Did they just pick a random homeless girl with no memory off the streets?

I was thinking, why would I specifically be missing the information about my past when I was summoned as the "chosen one?" I noted that I remembered some books I read, but why were they all childish fairytales I would follow blindly? Clearly I'm not in a fairytale, I'm not in one of those heroic tales where a hero slays a dragon. I decided to do something to take my mind off the situation. I decided to take a bath to try to relax.

Cori: I should go take a bath... This day was much easier now that I've taken my mind off that elf.

The room I was in had an extra room that held the shower. Observing the shower, it seemed extremely advanced. It had a faucet and a drain. I wonder how much it costs to build. The books that I have memorized in my head almost never described one of these, unless it's one of those apparent "isekai" books. I decided to disregard this and went on to clean myself. The shower felt refreshing, I didn't smell like garbage anymore, and I even used the water to clean the robe. I leave my robe out to dry for the next day, and I fall asleep... It was too good to be true, now that I have turned to crime, life seems much better. It was as if searching for the elf was holding me back. This was heaven... It was so dreamy... I finally get my first night of sleep. I have successfully survived my first day...

  (The next day)

The sun was up today, and as I woke up, I realized it had been shining in my face. I could clearly see the sun from here, wasn't I supposed to be inside?.

Cori: Ah... What the hell? Why is it so bright?

I suddenly came to the realization. I was in an alleyway on top of a garbage pile. The sun was overhead, bearing down its cruel heat on me. This was the same thing... The same alleyway I always start in. I make a face of dismay as I realize my situation. THAT DAMN WITCH! Can I not even live my life normally? The world seems peaceful enough. Why was I summoned on top of a pile of garbage anyways?

Cori: Crap... What even is going on? Is the day repeating? Was it because I didn't complete that objective? But she said there was no time limit.

I was just in the inn when I fell asleep... now I wake up here? Something isn't right.

Cori: Dammit... That inn was super comfy. Such a shame.

The day seems to be repeating itself. It would be too much of a coincidence if I had the same dream three times now... This means I have died at least twice. The same events should play out as before if I was correct... Regel should pass down the alleyway if this really is a loop. There would also be an out-of-control carriage. But why was the day repeating? Was it until I found the elf for the witch or something?

Cori: Why is the day repeating... Is this some sick joke? This must be the doing of the witch! Damn that hag! This is probably some type of thing to have me find that elf. Why do I even need companions? The elf wants to fucking kill me! What do I even do at this point?

I start pacing around the alleyway, holding my head between my hands. I looked like an insane person. I just received some respite in the inn, and now I'm back here. It was a bad moment to look insane since Regel passed me. This time, he pays more attention to me, after all I look like I had just seen a ghost. he starts questioning me.

  Regel: Ma'am? Are you okay?

Cori: What? Huh? Yes, I'm minding my own business, go away.

Regel: You seem to need help, are you okay?

Cori: I'm fine... Can you mind your own business? I don't like it when people are around me.

I do not want to associate with Regel, if I did, I would probably die. I just need some way to break this loop, but I need to shake Regel off my tail. The kid will be crushed by the carriage soon. As long as I stall the conversation long enough, I will be able to distract Regel.

Regel: Such an attitude. I'm just trying to help.

Regel has some air about him. He is trying to pretend he is friendly, then get me killed by the elf. That's it! I need to take this man down, he is the villain! But I could also just avoid him. I need to become more heroic before I do any epic fighting.

Cori: I'm trying to dumpster dive in this garbage right here, if you want to help, you're welcome.

  Regel: So, you're homeless?

Cori: Exactly. I'm not in the mood to associate with rich freaks like you.

Regel: What if I told you I had probable cause to associate with you?

Wait what? What does he mean?

Cori: Huh? What do you mean by that? I don't even know you.

Regel: I can tell by that mask you have there by your side... Your skin... Your eyes... It says it all.

Cori: Huh? What? You're creeping me out.

Regel: Hehe... I have just a few questions to ask you...

Cori: Hold on, what do you even want?

Regel: Ok... Do you know anything about the village of the east? It's close by the outside of the city, about 3 hours for you to get there on foot.

Cori: Oh, what? There's a village?

Regel: Indeed, do you have information about it?

He was staring into my soul, as if rummaging through my very mind. I get this strange sensation each time he looks at me. I really thought he would ask about the documents.

Cori: Well... I never knew there was a village.

Regel: Ok... Now next question... What is your opinion on murder?

Cori: Strange question to ask, do people normally as these questions?

Before I could answer, a scream was heard. Outside the alleyway, a carriage had run over a child. This was my chance to escape. Regel takes his leave with me and rushes to the child. My curiosity got the better of me, and I went to see what happened also. Outside, a carriage was parked at the side of the road. In the middle of the street, there was a crowd of people surrounding a body. He was bleeding from the torso, everyone was panicking.

Cori: Hm? He really is dead, isn't he? What a shame I took too long to answer those bullshit questions... At least I have a place to go outside the city... A village in the east—that is where my next stop will be after all of this. I am leaving this city as soon as possible. I need to experiment with ways to pass the first day, maybe the loop doesn't work outside the city? I have infinite lives after all.

Suddenly, Regel kneels beside the body of the child, and light pops out his fingertips. Strings attach themselves to the child's body, melding and mending the body together. Was this some type of healing? Regel was showered in praise from the crowd, proclaiming him as a hero or something. I didn't stick around long enough for him to notice me slipping away from the crowd. That damn white knight, I will expose him as soon as possible as a rat and a traitor.

Cori: Hmph. What a letdown! I was excited to see the panic in the crowd when something exciting happened for once. Other than me dying twice, nothing too eventful has happened.

I proceed across the city to the east gate. I was let out and into the open. There was a pathway and plains outside of the city with the occasional tree to break the horizon.

Cori: Finally the wilderness... I have been in that dump for long enough, now, to that village.

I go on top of a hill and scan the horizon. There was a small village seemingly nestled in a forest. That must be the village! I walked for what seemed like hours. By the time I reached the edge of the forest surrounding the place, a thick mist clouded the trees. The mist wasn't thick enough to get lost in, but it was confusing. Why didn't I see the mist from the top of the hill?

Cori: Hm... This mist is weird, didn't see this before... Is this magic?

It certainly had to be, right? It wasn't here before... I might be going crazy, I disregard the mist and keep walking in. This was beginning to look a lot like a horror story where someone gets lost in woods.

Cori: The mist is getting a bit too thick here, I should search the perimeter to see if I can find anyone. I swear there was a village around in these woods... The woods weren't even this thickly packed from what I could tell from the outside.

I decided to head back and search the parts of the forest where the fog was lighter, I eventually came across a camp. Who would be camping out here? There were many people in the camp, all of them looked depressed. I was about to go check it out until I saw something familiar. There was an elf sitting among them. It was the same elf that had killed me the first time the day looped.

Cori: That damn elf... But this may be a lucky hit. This might just count as meeting the elf. I will just pass through the camp and say hi in order to complete this. I just need to do the bare minimum for now in order to complete that quest.

I decided to head into the camp, but there was some type of barrier surrounding the place. It burned by skin just to get close to that barrier. I decided to just leave.

Cori: This is strange... Why would there be a magic barrier around here? It's not like I can get through or anything... I'll just leave here for now until things return to normal.

I try to make my way out of the forest, but I realize that I was lost.

  Cori: Dammit... This is bad.

This was indeed bad, being lost in the forest was not ideal, but there had to be some way out. No matter which direction I walked, there was a thick fog that eventually blocked my path. I also occasionally ran into the camp of people, but the barrier's range was so wide, I couldn't tell what they were doing. Sound didn't seem to travel through the barrier either since I couldn't hear them at all. The people inside the barrier didn't seem to notice me either. There wasn't anywhere else to go but into the thicker parts of the fog.

Cori: What is this? Some type of event? It is clearly preventing me from reaching the elf... That witch is probably setting me up! Putting me through all of this! Once I get my hands on that hag, I will gouge both her eyes out with my knife...

I could only see about a foot ahead of myself in the fog, I occasionally bump into a tree or stumble over some roots. The forest seemed to keep getting thicker as I walked, some of the branches even scraped by arms as I passed through.

Cori: I have the feeling I'm going to regret traversing this fog.

I suddenly bump into another tree... But this tree was made of rocks? No, it was a stone base for a structure.

Cori: What the hell? Where did this come from?

It was a house, but it seemed to be in bad condition. This seemed to be the village that I saw from the hill... But less foggy.

Cori: Finally! I get somewhere, something feels off though.

Something was definitely wrong, the moment I made my way around the house, the fog cleared up to reveal a town. It was confirmed by theory that this was the town. There was rubble piled up in the streets, all the houses were either ruined or abandoned. I knew I was far away when I looked down from that hill, but I could tell the town was in better condition than this. What happened? There was a silence all around me, at least in the woods, you can hear the distant chirping of a cricket or some other bug. I decide to venture inside to investigate, there were ruined residences, inns, and shops that lined the streets.

Cori: Damn... This place looked much brighter from the hill...

Even though we were in a clearing, the fog didn't lift all the way, there were gray clouds that were way too close to the ground to be in the sky, they were blocking the sun out. There were occasionally patches of mist that carpeted the floor, but when I stepped through them, they disappeared. Something about this town wasn't right, it was as if I stepped into another world.

  Cori: Hello? Anyone?

I tried to scream out to someone, it probably wasn't the best choice, but no one else was around, right? There could be some townsfolk left, but they likely all moved away. After all, there weren't any buildings left that you could stay in. Maybe, there were some valuables I could snag?

Cori: I'll just get as much stuff as possible and get out of here if I can. I clearly don't belong in this place.

I suddenly hear footsteps behind me.

  Cori: Hello?

A person in a rugged cloak was behind me, the ends of the fabric seem to have been war torn and ripped. It was a crimson red, the color of blood. I couldn't make out the figure's face, but it was somewhat familiar.

Figure: I heed your call, sinner... I have come to greet you.

Cori: Uhhhh hi? Who are you?

Figure: I don't need to state my name to a dead woman, you finally come out of your fog in order to challenge me.

Cori: Wait! There must be a misunderstanding, you don't need to-

Before I could finish my sentence, my stomach was slashed open, and guts and blood poured out as I fell to the floor. I had no time to react to the attack, it was as if the person had teleported. What did they even slash me with?

Figure: I expected more of a fight, oh well, this is one less sinner to deal with. But I like my prey to struggle more.

  Cori: W-Why...

I was in so much pain, could I just die already? Why wasn't I dying? I couldn't do anything but hold my entrails, trying to put them back in my body. I could barely move across the ground as blood pooled around me, yet I wasn't losing consciousness. I was dying way too slowly.

Figure: I have to say, your guts are poorly maintained, not a single soul has been in those organs, perhaps you are different from the rest of the scum. When was the last time you ate?

Who is this person? What do they mean by sinner? Why were they calling me scum? This person might be insane, why did I even come here? Each second dying was complete and utter torture, my hearing was ringing with pain. I just want to die at this point.

  Cori: Kill... Me...

Figure: Oh my, still breathing? Just killing you would be letting your kind off too easily... Say, I will kill you, but on the other hand, your hide sells for a lot in the market. I can't wait to see how you can fit onto my cloak with the rest of the sinners.

The figure takes out a skinning knife, they lick it with their tongue, brandishing the knife before my paralyzed body as if taunting me. They start by pinning me against the wall and starting at my arms, I was already in so much pain that it made the skinning less painful.

Figure: Oh my, this hide is of top-notch quality, the flesh is so tender, it's so soft, it isn't rough like the rest, it is easy to penetrate with a knife.

The flesh apparently was easy to peel off, the further it peeled, the more painful it got, Blood trickled down my skinned arm, it soaked my sleeves with red. I was helpless as she continued to take off my hide as if she were skinning an animal for fur. Eventually, the only skin left was on my face. I was in unimaginable pain from this experience. I could feel the rough ground much more clearly now that my bare muscles were exposed.

Figure: I am honestly surprised you're still alive, is this some sort of ability? But after examining your body for a while, I already have come to the conclusion that you're too weak to possess abilities or the strength to survive. I honestly commend your willpower, your determination to stay alive is impressive

This was not the time to compliment me, you are skinning me alive.

Figure: As a reward for your effort, I will give you a surprise; I will take the skin off your face while you're unconscious! You won't feel a thing, usually, they scream the most when I take the skin off their face, I will make it much less painful for you.

This didn't make things any better. But at least it will relieve the pain a bit...

  Figure: One last thing...

The figure takes off the hood, revealing long blonde hair, she had a crazy expression... It was the elf from the first day I was here, what was she doing here?

Elf: recognize me in any way? I know I have met you long ago, it was fun hunting you down this way.

She remembers me? But how? I thought the day looped... Was the elf immune to the loop somehow? Or maybe I had some past with this elf I couldn't remember. Is this why the witch wanted me to find her? These thoughts don't matter now, do they? The elf brings the handle of the knife to the top of my head, my head start spinning, did the hilt just break my skull? I was still barely conscious.

Elf: One last thing... Your entrails are so beautiful when on full display, sinner.

She raises some of my intestines she cut out and put it against my mouth, the blood covering the entrails soaked into my lips. The last thing I saw was the knife being raised. I couldn't even get the chance to see the strike.

  Everything fades to black...
