The world was divided into four great empires, each distinct in its nature, its power, and its legacy.

  The Light Empire

Where magic shines in its purest, brightest form, illuminating even the darkest corners of existence. The people of this empire are known for their kindness and humility, never seeking war, never needing conflict—only growth, prosperity, and enlightenment.

  The Indra Empire

Magic burns red here, fierce and unrelenting. The warriors of Indra are passionate, driven by ambition and emotion, often known for their tempers. Though volatile, their strength is unmatched, their will unbreakable.

  The Ashura Kingdom

A land wrapped in ancient myths, hidden deep within jungle terrain. Here, elves roam the forests, their magic intertwined with nature itself. They are the descendants of forgotten gods, their power whispered through generations.

  The Dragon Empire

The strongest of them all, where rulers carry the blood of dragons in their veins. Their warriors are not merely humans, they are beings of legacy, of fire, of might. They do not seek battle, for they know they are unmatched.

Though it may seem impossible, the empires do not war. There is no great conflict, no struggle for dominance. This balance is maintained by a single force, the Dimensional Orb, an ancient stone that chooses the rulers of each empire. It dictates fate, selecting the kings, queens, and all who hold power. It is destiny, pure and undeniable.

But for the princes and princesses, nothing is given freely. They must embark on journeys, proving themselves worthy of selection. Only through their trials can they earn their place among the chosen.

And so, the First Prince of the Light Empire found himself walking alongside Sophia, seeking wisdom, strength, and something more unspoken.

"Sebastian," Eos murmured, crossing his arms as he leaned against the sturdy frame of his tent. "Tell me, is Rio truly fit to be Patriarch?"

The man before him, Sebastian, an aged yet steadfast advisor, straightened his posture, his gaze unwavering.

"Yes, sir," he affirmed without hesitation.

Eos exhaled, staring out at the horizon as the morning sun stretched across the land. "And you’re certain?"

"Don’t worry," Sebastian assured him. "Your homeland is in safe hands, at least for the time being. Rio is the only known hybrid he alone can access the Memory Vaults. Many have tried before him, and all have failed."

Eos remained quiet; his thoughts tangled in doubt. "The Memory Vaults…" he mused. "So that’s why our late mistress was so fond of him."

Sebastian nodded; his expression touched with something almost reverent. "He wasn’t her child, but she loved him more than anyone. If she were alive today, I believe she would be the happiest person to see his growth."

Eos let out a slow sigh, rubbing a hand over his forehead. He didn’t know whether to feel reassured or uneasy. Rio was changing. Rapidly. And that kind of transformation rarely came without consequences.

  Rio’s Patrol

Meanwhile, far from the worries of empires and rulers, Rio strode through the winding paths of his territory, his boots kicking up dust with each step. The land had become familiar to him the small markets, the quiet streets, the faces of those who now looked upon him not as an afterthought, but as their leader.

Still, the responsibility weighed on him. It was not the role itself that burdened him, but the expectations, the whispers of change, the mutterings of admiration.

"The fourth young master is the Patriarch now."

"Strange, isn’t it? He was always the most unremarkable."

"Not so strange, actually. He’s different. He listens to the people, he inspects the markets, he even teaches instead of punishing. And somehow… it works!"

Their voices carried through the streets, and though Rio had never sought validation, he couldn’t deny the warmth that spread through his chest hearing their words.

It was then, amidst the quiet hum of daily life, that a sharp cry tore through the air.

Rio’s body reacted before his mind fully registered the sound. He turned toward the source, a clearing beyond the main road. His heartbeat quickened as he sprinted forward, dust kicking up behind him.

  Then he saw it.

A lone traveler, struggling against the grip of a monstrous beast. Its hulking form loomed over him, claws dripping with dark venom.

Rio’s pulse thundered as he reached for his sword, instincts sharper than they had ever been. The vaults within him stirred the echoes of warriors before him whispering through his veins.

  This was it.

  Another test.

Another moment that would define the path ahead.
