It is time for judgment, the court full of people, Moses's parents and Dave's grandmother. The atmosphere was tense, everywhere was quiet, the judge looked at the two boys who were accused of stealing the golden pendant, an artifact from the museum.
No one knows about this artifact, only the government, they couldn't make it visible to the public because it was glowing a bright golden color, which defise the laws of science. So it was kept safe in a vault, but somehow, two university students got to know about it and attempted to steal it.
“Would you care to explain your side of the story Mr. Dave” The judge said, keeping an eye wildly on Dave's body language.
“Our department was having an excursion to the museum” Dave started. “While the tour guide was explaining, I saw a man walking suspiciously into the room, he wore a green hoodie, black trousers, and green shoes, he had a thin moustache. I can't tell his hairstyle cuz he was wearing a hoodie” Dave paused, thinking of ways to filter out the part of the using of magic.
“My friend Moses showed up and we saw him bring out the necklace from the vault, none of us knew anything about it. We tried to stop him but he was too strong and he beat us...and we suddenly didn't see him again”
“How did the necklace get into your backpack” The judge questioned.
“I guess he must have put it there to frame me” Dave answered.
“Evidence shows that the man you described never showed up in any of the cameras in the museum”
“I guess he was a master heist” Dave said almost angrily, tired of all the evidence pointing against him and Moses.
Their lawyers were utterly useless, not able to do anything to help Moses and Dave win the case. Dave's grandmother looked at the lawyers with a bombastic side eye, as though she would kill them if they failed.
“Why didn't you call security the second you knew the man was stealing?“ The judge asked, as if determined to punish the boys more than needed.
“I...I was...cuz...“ Dave had nothing to say anymore, he was out of ideas. “LOOK” He shouts. “THE GUY WAS A MAGICIAN...OKAY?“
“What!!“ The judge exclaimed. Confused gasps filling the court room.
“Dave... what do you think you are doing?“ Moses whispered almost angrily.
“He had this little powers that helped him escape security and disappear” Dave completed. “And he framed me”
The judge looked at Dave with an eye that made it seem like as if he understood what Dave was trying to say. “Would the guardians of these children like to say anything before I pronounce my judgement” The judge said, looking as mischievous and wicked as ever.
Mary, Dave's grandmother stands. “My grandchild will never steal. I raised him since he was a baby, his single mother died when he was ten. I know what he can and cannot do. Dave knows nothing apart from straight A grades” The judge didn't reply, he just kept writing into his papers as he listened.

Mr. Jones, Moses father also stood up to talk, he was just as muscular as his son. “Moses and Dave have been best friends since they were just learning to walk” He said calmly “I know both if them, they'll never do such a thing, I mean, how could they break into a vault”
“And what is this stupid necklace anyway?“ Mrs. Jones
started. “Your precious jewel that no one in Elysia seems to know about” Murmurs began to fill the court.
“Very well” The Jude said. “Since there are no evidence that the accused didn't do it and there are witnesses that the accused can't or didn't do it, with major evidence pointing against the accused. I hereby pronounce the accused guilty. And sentence Moses Jones and David Antonio to 12 months in prison with zero labour” He stands up, just after hitting the mallet.
“Court!”
Gasps filled the court as the session ended and the judge left, horror stuck Moses's parents and Dave's grandmother.
“Ugh!!!“ Moses exclaimed angrily. “I guess this is what we get for trying to be heroes”
“You can't certainly tell me that cops will be able to deal with a greedy magician” Dave said, to make Moses feel less guilty, they both let out a silent somewhat forced chuckle.
“Magic men are called warlocks by the way” Moses lectured.
“When we get to jail, you will explain everything to me”
They bid their parents and guardians a sad farewell as they were dragged away into the armored vehicle.

Moses and Dave walked into the cellar, a cellar that had not bars, but a thick steel door with a panel for viewing from the outside. There was a bunk bed by the far right side of the room, and a toilet with a little curtain for privacy.
“Yuk!“ Moses said out of disgust, I can't believe I'm in prison.
“Just keep thanking that we were put in same room, alone, instead of with some weird criminals” Dave said, trying to keep his best friend happy and hopeful.
“I'm sorry Dave” Moses apologized, his head facing down.
“Oh, no. Don't apologize to me” Dave said with an enlightening yet sentimental smile. “Being in prison is worth it if I get to be there with my friend. I got to know your biggest darkest secret” Moses chuckled, though Dave could tell it was forced.
“I'm taking the top bed” Dave said happily as he climbed and jumped on the top bed.
They heard knocking on the left side of wall.
“Unh?“ Moses wondered. “Did you hear that?“
“Yeah, I did” Dave replied. They heard the knocking again.
“Hello?“ Moses said into the void.
“Just open the damn panel” A female voice yelled and they saw a panel by the left side of the wall.
“Oh” Moses quickly opened it.
“ Was the panel there before!?“ Dave questioned but got no answers. He saw the face of the beautiful young woman who was standing on the other side of the wall. He got down to get a good look at her.
She had long black hair and paper brown eyes. Her melanin filled skin showed grace and beauty.
“Hi” The girl said.
“Umm...I thought this was only the prison for the male gender only” Moses said like a calm child.
“This is a prison for amateur criminals” Said the girl “And why separate prison buildings for male and female, it's not like they can have sex through the walls of their rooms” Moses was half shocked at the sudden use of the sexual word.
“Hi” Dave said in a deep cool voice.
“Hey” The girl replied.
“What's your name by the way” Dave asked.
“My name's Agnes” She answerd with a bright smile, which made Dave's insides flutter.
“You have a beautiful name” He said, still in his cool voice.
“Oh, thank you” She had a vibrant smile, which Moses couldn't help but notice.
“So why are you boys in prison” She asked.
“I stole the golden pendant” Dave said in an instant.
“Dave!!“ Moses uttered almost angrily, knowing Dave's attempt to try to impress the girl.
“Wait” She raised a questioning brow. “You guys know?“
“Know what?“ Moses asked.
Agnes leaned in closer and whispered. “Magic”
Dave gasped. “Don't tell me you are a witch”
“I am” she said. Dave was about to talk, but Moses stepped in defensively.
“Prove it” Moses said. Agnes took a deep breath and her eyes, only the pupils, turned purple. Dave and Moses were surprised, but Dave was more shocked. Light weight objects in the room started floating in the air.
“Wow” Moses said with full happiness. “I've never met another magic person my entire life, except from my parents”
“Neither have I” Agnes said.
“Really?“ Moses asked.
“No, I'm just kidding”
“Okay, so now that two magicians are here...“ Said Dave. “Explaining everything to me would be more efficient and accurate and interesting. Start talking”
“Don't you know about sorcery?“ Agnes asked.
“No, I'm not even a magician” Dave answered.
“Oh, we don't have to tell you” Agnes said.
“Why not, we can trust him” Moses said, in is usual calm tone.
“We can show you” Agnes said.
Agnes eyes, pupils specifically, turned into a bright neon purple and the walls between the prison rooms disappeared and Agnes crossed over, startling the boys.
The air in the center of the room turned into an image, forming like a realistic 3d hollogram. Controlled by Agnes.
“Is your power drive reality?“ Moses asked.
“Yes, Agnes answerd. “What's yours?“
“Wind” Moses said with a smile which Agnes didn't return.
“The creation of the world” Agnes said like a narrator, with the hollogram forming different images.
