Chapter 1 - A dungeon core in a .... Storm drain ???

  Booom !!!!

Trebble did have to say that conscious thought was quite the exhilarating thing.

One second your nothing but a glowing blue sphere, and the next your contemplating the futility of your existence. How thrilling !!!

Just the theater of it all sent shivers down Trebble's non-existent back.

The drama! The mystery! The emotion!

It was almost too much for him, and Trebble loved it.

How did he know what a "back" was after being alive for exactly 3.21345323 seconds?

Trebble had no clue, and that amazed him.

  It was almost as if.....

  As if...

  He was alive?

Wait... If he could think, did that mean he was alive?

For the first time in his very very very short existence, Trebble paused to think for a moment.

Really struggling to turn his feelings into thoughts, and his thoughts into words, Trebble encountered his first obstacle in life.

Well.... that was if he even was alive that was...

How could he prove to himself that he was alive?

He had conscience thought, that was for sure.

He also had a name. Who gave it to him, he wasn't sure. But it was a name all the same and that was good enough for Trebble.

But did he have a body?

Wait a body! Trebble had almost forgotten about his body, and it had only been 6.31223 seconds since he had become aware of it. How silly.

From what he could tell, his body felt warm. It was smooth and spherical. And it was blue. A brilliant shade of blue. A blue that glowed, and pulsed, and danced, bluer than anything else Trebble could imagine.

  A warm, glowing, blue sphere.

It wasn't much of a body, but it was all that Trebble could see.

  See?

  Wait, he could see?

  It was Taste !!!

  No that felt wrong...

  Hearing !!!!

  No even worse...

  It was sight ???

Yes, sight !!! Sight !!! Sight it was !!!

Trebble had Sight, and that excited him. It was almost as interesting as conscience thought.

Although to be honest, would he even be aware that he could see without conscience thought?

Trebble marked that question as a no and moved on to what he could see.

Darkness, nothing but darkness... That wasn't very exciting...

Wait there were words !!! Many words !! Strange words !!!! Odd words, but words all the same !!!

Words that danced, played and shimmied in and out of Tebble's sight.

Trebble tried to read the words but found out that he couldn't, they were moving around too much.

  It was annoying.

Trying something new out of slight anger, Trebble somehow reached out and grabbed some words forcing them to come to an abrupt halt.

And stay still they did, because after Trebble somehow clutched onto the words, he found that they moved about no longer.

  How convenient.

Trebble hoped that not all words liked to run about, just grabbing a few was exhausting.

  Urg, how dull.

Not his name of course, but everything else.

He only had one Dp, whatever that was. Alongside one mana! A thing which he also had no information on.

He had no rooms! No floors! No creatures!

That was unacceptable for some reason. Completely un-dungeon-like ( whatever that meant ).

  It was preposterous.

Trebble just haddddd to change that.

Attempting to mess around with the words a little bit, Trebble was finally greeted with some progress after he somehow used his thoughts to press on the - Rooms - section of his status ( The thing he decided to call the strange words that described his present state of being )

  Interesting...

Trebble was presented with a choice for the first time in his life. He was exactly 15.22145 seconds old and he was finally allowed to make his first decision.

  HOW EXILLERATING !!!

The decision presented to him was also incredibly interesting as well.

Trebble could choose to leave everything up to fate...

  or

Trebble could take the safe route and become a standard dungeon...

Smashing the first option with childlike glee, Trebble couldn't help but revel in the thrill of chance.

How could he not choose the fun option?

Trebble was a thrill-seeker at heart, how could he not take up a chance to dive into what was basically a game of chance.

  Where would he end up?

A desert? An ocean? A mountain?

Trebble's entire being shook in excitement as his world grew around him.

His sight finally reached out to places other than himself!

Looking around Trebble saw a small space that was rapidly changing as his essence slowly took control of his surroundings.

He found himself within a rather strange underground room. Its strange smooth concrete walls shimmered in glimmering blue light as they curved in strange ways, guiding the flow of a small fast-flowing stream of water. The small room was filled with noise as water flowed in through a large rectangular slit near its roof, sending the water cascading down into the fast-flowing stream flowing to depths unknown. Small lizards darted around patches of green moss, scurrying about as they felt a strange power thickening the air. A result of Tribble's newfound control over the place.

And at the center of it all was Trebble's body. Lifted on a glittering golden pedestal that was unlike anything else in the room, Trebble's body shimmered as it was the source of the light that cascaded about the room, shedding light on a place long abandoned.

How amazing !!! How beautiful !!! How novel !!!

Trebble would have bet his sight that he was the only dungeon that found itself in a storm drain. It was strangely beutiful in a weird way, and Trebble had to admit he loved it.

Now somehow able to move his sight around, Trebble spent a few hours exploring his new core room. Spending his time admiring the wonders of fast-moving water, playing hide and seek with the lizards that made their home in the moss, and exploring every single inch of his new home.

But eventually, the novelty of the new area wore off, and after noticing he still had .5 mana Trebble quickly rushed into the words again to seek out a new adventure.

Purchasing the only thing he could at the moment Trebble eagerly purchased Thirteenth Street Avenue and took the upgrade that went along with it, only to have his mind blown.

Trebble wasn't quite sure what he was expecting when he bought Thirteenth Street Avenue, but he sure as hell wasn't expecting a whole new world.

Feeling his domain massively expanding, Trebble found his perception flying out of the small storm drain that he called home and into the wider world itself.
