When Kazuma woke up, he saw a girl next to him and screamed, "WHAT?! AM I DEAD?! IS THIS HEAVEN OR HELL?!" Later though, he came to realize that no, he was alive. An hour or two later, Kanaka woke up, and yelled "THE DEVS DIDN"T TELL ME THAT THIS WOULD HAPPEN!" And proceeded to be pure tsundere. Kazuma was disappointed, his companion wasn't even a cute loli, or waifu material either. But, he dealt with it, knowing he could still, indeed, dream. And, they were the only people there, as far as he knew. So teaming upwas inevitable.
