Prologue

"Who would have thought that it would have ended here? I can't be that disappointed though. I mean who would have thought we would have made it this far. Six weak naive teens against the rules of time itself." He chuckled to himself as time faded away.

"At least she'll be happy," he said to himself.

He turned his gaze away from where he came from and turned to face the endless abyss before him. An abyss of nothing. An abyss of everything. The gap between time. The echo of space.

"I guess I'll need to get used to this place. I'll probably be here a while."

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

He started walking towards the nothing and the everything truly alone for the first time in what seemed like an eternity.

"I always did want something more exciting in life than just school so this entire journey has been a blessing. I was able to meet her as well so I wouldn't change anything I did. I mean only I was lost in a space without time with no way of escape to wander for all of eternity while everyone else lived on so I guess you could say we won." He thought to himself.

"I am going to miss those five though so I guess there is a downside." Tears started rolling down his face as he walked.

"Huh." He touched the tears rolling down his face. "I don't want this. I don't want to be alone. I want to see them again. Even just once more."

He fell to his knees surrounded by the abyss void of time. Trapped. Alone. And Broken.
