Today is my Third birthday. My family never celebrates with me.

That's Martha, my nanny and personal maid. All these years she took care of me like a mother. Sometimes when I see her, I can't help but remember my mother from earth.

I quickly finished my meal. Today I am supposed to meet my father. It's been a long time since I last saw him. I am getting nervous.
I got ready and went to meet him in his study. Wonder why he called.
I knocked the door to his study.
"Come in." said my father. He was standing in front of a bookshelf and going through a book with a serious look in his face.
"Frau, you're here. Sit."
I sat down on the chair he pointed and he took his seat in front of me.
"Today I called you for a reason. It's been decided that you'll be sent to your uncle in Arun. It's a town west from here. Pack your luggage. You'll be sent tomorrow morning."
Wha! What's he thinking. Isn't that too hasty?
"Why?"
"You're uncle doesn't have a kid and his wife is gone. So he wants to adopt you. You should be grateful. Now you may go back."
Looks like I am being thrown out. *sigh* I hope uncle is nice.
