Chapter Eight
Unleash the fury...boar?
Red flowering vine plant clung to the wall, behind those wall; there's full grown trees, a small pond and flowers sprouted everywhere. It was a little paradise for the animals residing in that particular place. Not far away from that place, there was a two story medieval mansion situated.
Luscious chocolate wafted filled in his nose as soon as the monster who looks like a kangaroo with 5 inches long silver horn placed the plated chocolate cake on the table. If he means that as a joke, don't expect since that's the truth. It felt like as though he was part of the circus stunt or zoo. He can see animals and tame monster everywhere he looks.
Persona and Sarah sat inside the gazebo, few meters away from the mansion.
He checked out his inventory while waiting for Sarah to start to talked about wanting him to her disciple. His gaze landed on the gift box icon. It was gift as a token of appreciation from the 'World of Savage Online' Management for being their value costumer. Persona maneuvered his index finger to the icon and double click it.
Silver light clothes with golden stitches intricate on some part of it especially the head band and wrist band appeared. Somehow, he reminds it from the Middle East clothes.
“My husband is not here as of the moment. He had a business to attend to from the neighboring land.” Sarah informed him. He didn't hesitate to eat the cake as he listened to Sarah.
“What exactly do you mean you're choosing me to become your disciple? What kind of a job do you really have other than collecting animals or monster?”
“I am but a Beastmaster.”
Something stuck on his throat, he frantically punch his chest. He hastily grab the glass of water and drunk it. Beastmaster she says? But how come he never knew about this kind of class? Is it a hidden class? It must be, it was featured in the book manual that there are 8 types of hidden class that has not yet been discovered and even if there's person who was able to grasp this information, they wouldn't let anyone know for their own benefit.
“I assumed you already know what it means.”
“Yep.” Beastmaster can control monster and they will do as you bid to them.
“So will you accept it?”
“Why should I? I mean, I don't mean to be rude, okay? But wouldn't it be better to buy a contract scroll?”
“Indeed. But like everyone else profession, this profession has its own unique power. A power that only my ancestor, brother and I know about it. Long time ago, my ancestor, Hawise Hartfield, conducted a research on why the entities become blood thirsty monster and discovered that the reason was the pillar; the pillar was the supporter to our world. It keeps the world in peace and harmonious, sealed the bad spirit but now that it was gone, it caused all the entities' heart become impure. However, he believe that there's a way out for those creature to keep them pure and he seeks for it until he discovered a power and past it down to his successor but because this power, my clan had...been annihilated by those people who fear us. Only I and my brother escaped from them and let them think that we're dead.”
“Uh...” He couldn't come up a word upon hearing the tragic happened to her clan.
“Now does it encourage you to become my disciple? You know, now that I think about it, I am very old and need to past down my knowledge to someone since my husband and I were unable to get ourselves a child.”
For a split moment, he pitied her before she continued. “Besides my brother told me a long time ago that he already has a disciple and I can't let him beat me, y'know? Will you accept now?”
“You're offer isn't that bad but...” He trailed off before continued. “Okay.”

“Great! But before you become a full-fledge Beastmaster. First, I need you to prove yourself to me. Go to the eastern border and kill 50 of strange humanoids monster lurking in that area. As a proof you killed them, bring me their heart.”
That's quite a lot of numbers to kill.
“I accept.”
“Yes. Yes. But I think you should take a bath first. I'd been enduring it for a while but I can't stand you reek of blood and sweat.”

“Hear thee, God of Sun and Warrior of chief patron, bless them with bountiful strengths to put an end for this evil. Physical Endurance! Aura of Healing! Dispel!” Tiara swiftly swung her staff as its burst a sparkling light out of it and bestowed them a buff.
As her team felt the strength surging up, their team leader Fuzzy Bear let out a battle cry to increase their morale. He fiercely dash out and swung his sword and was able to amputate the monster's arm. While Shushran continued shot an arrow to the monster.
“Ice Sphere!” Glaizel, the Ice mage shouted.
Pak!
Boom!
Bogsh!
Swish!
“Wroooahhhh....!” The silver monkey cried as its voice faded. By their non-stop attack, finally they defeated the silver monkey boss.
“Yes! Huff! Finally we can take some rest! Huff!” Fuzzy Bear said while huffing.
“It sure fun taking the boss down. Haha! I told you that we can defeat it! We should do it again!” Shushran said enthusiastically while the other member of the party face looks petrified as they heard their youngest member. If it weren't for her stupidity for attacking the monster boss first, they wouldn't have to resort to defeat the monster. Later, for some reason the color of their face drained as they stared something behind Shushran.
“Oh? What's wrong?” She pouted her lips before looking at her back, horror-stricken in her face as she saw a horde of wild boar running stampede towards their direction. Due to her keen vision she caught a glimpse on a platinum haired boy mounting a wild boar's back.
“That boy looks familiar...where did I see...oh I kn-”
“Shushran! Shut up and let's ruunnnn!!!” The tree of them tried to drag away Shushran but failed to do so. It was too late to run, the stampede was faster and before they knew it, they had drag along.
Even though they are higher level than these creatures, still, 4 versus against these horde of boar, they didn't stand a chance to escape from the stampede.
“Hahah! Go my evil minion! To the eastern border!” A platinum haired boy laughed maniacally as he ordered the wild boar.
'What the helll is gooiiing onnnn?!'
“Huh? Did someone just scream...? Tche. Must be my imagination. Go! Faster you pig!
