Appearing back to where Zero was before, he looks at the area that was once a stage of a fierce battle. Bright sun ray shone brightly over the location in comparison to the surrounding which is shaded by the leaves. Besides the ground showing obvious sign of struggles between humans and the animals it seems to be the same as when the battle started, not even the heavy logs were around.

  'I tried to log back in as soon as possible even sacrificing my sleep in the process, but everything’s gone. Not even the animals’ corpses are around. I could at least try to get the meat to sell or something.'

  Zero gave out a sad sigh at his now futile effort.

  As he tried to search the place to see if there is anything else of value, a grey bear walked out through some bushes making rustling sound as it brush past them.

  <” We have been waiting for you, our savior”>, nudging Zero to follow. <”Our leader, Bernhard wanted to personally present you a gift. “>

  After taking one last glance at the clearing with eyes of grief Zero proceed after the grey bear, all the while anguishing about the loot and the money he could have earned with it.

  Trending slowly towards the lair, Zero’s eyes wandered about. From his view he could see that the number of bears wandering about has thinned out, but could see their eyes are filled with gratefulness whenever he chances upon them.

  The bears were in a victory mood over the battle, with a lively atmosphere engulfing the place. Though there were some bears in bandage were lying at the sides sleeping which Zero assumes that they were still recuperating, it is not in the slightest able to dampen the current mood.

  Noticing Zero passing through, they quickly approach and shower him with thanks, with some even giving fishes and fruits to him which he took them with glee, the items instantly vanishing from their paws causing them to be befounded and amuse by his action.

  Zero was mystified by the bears’ reaction to him.

  'I have not even fought in the battle and yet they make me look as if I am a hero. Is this what they call helping others mean helping oneself?' Zero laughed inwardly at this.

  Once Zero went past the bears that have formed around him, he could see Bernhard at the front of the cave, brimming with affection. He hastens his pace and covered the rest of the distance, anticipating about the reward.

  “I have come,” Zero greeted Bernhard. “The humans no longer have any reason to subjugate the forest. You will have no need to worry about them dispatching another force.”

  <”We are thankful for your assistance, Zero in this battle. Your plans allow us to win our fight against the humans and ensure the safety of our forest.”>

  *tiring*

  Messages of his level increasing continue appearing. He had simultaneously gained a whopping 10 levels. The huge increase of level is due to Zero's action which ended the battle favorably to both parties.

  <” You have proven yourself worthy of it. You shall be bestowed with the class which is only given by those that is acknowledged by beasts.”>

  Yes! I have finally gotten myself a hidden class. Zero smiled happily at the announcement. Who knows how long or in what way he will have to do to get such a class. To Zero a hidden class means a powerful class, with barely any interest in the classes where anyone could join.

  *tiring*

  “Yes!” Zero shouted with all he could muster. His avatar was enveloped with light.

  Zero cried out in joy as he laid his eyes on the class.After viewing the window again and again until he was satisfied,he allocated all his unused points to agility. Next Zero checks the skills he received from it.

  Zero also received a message about a new stat that was generated when he received the class. He took a look at it.

  As Zero survey the skills he possess from the beast master class, he couldn’t find a single attack skill. Where he was once overjoying at has now become his bane.

  He had wanted a powerful class with powerful skills to match. Skill that would render heaven and earth apart or at the very least be able to kill monsters with a single strike. But he could found none here, not even a single one..

  Zero tried to think more positively.

  ‘After all it is still a hidden class. It is still too early to make a conclusion.’

  As Zero gave his farewell and was about to leave, he was stopped by Bernhard.

  “…”

  “Is there anything else?”

  <”There is a bear who would like to join you as your companion. Due to your contribution in fending off the humans he is inspired to journey with you. He’s now behind you.”>

  Turning around, Zero saw a familiar figure. It was the same bear that he had helped to bandage a long while back.

  Finding the situation to be strange, Zero ask the bear.

  “Why did you choose to come with me? My journey will be full of peril and it is very likely that you may even die from it”

  <”Because from this incident I find myself somewhat lacking, close to even losing our forest without your timely assistance. By joining you I will be able to find the strength that I need.”> The bear responded with the tone in its voice that shows its determination.

  Sensing the strong will behind its words, Zero gave a sign to indicate that he has caved in to its demands and accepted the bear into his party.

  *Ting*

  Looking at the new skill generated by having a companion, Zero found that the mana required is too high for him to use at this point in time. Checking out the bear status next, he decided to give the bear a name.

  “I will need to give you a name to differentiate from the rest”, says Zero. The bear nodded its head to show its approval.

  Zero carefully thought about what name to give the bear.

  He wanted a name that will appeal to people, especially cute girls. After crossing out a few names in his mind, he selected one that suits his requirements.

  “Teddy. Henceforth your name shall be Teddy”, imaging the scene where the girls would scream in delight as he told them the bear’s name.

  As soon as he finishes giving the name, the bear exterior expanded in size, making it look bigger than it was before.

  “Stay here for now. I have to finish up the things that have to be done and make the necessary preparation in Brent Kingdom”, says Zero.

  <“I understand.”>, responded Teddy.

  Leaving the lair behind, sleeplessness soon overtook Zero.Not caring where to sleep at this point, he lay down on the soft patch of the grass next to a tree and fell into a deep slumber.

  Exams are coming out so there will be longer release dates as i will need to focus on my studies. I will keep on writing so there is no need to worry about that point. Many thanks to those that have been reading this.
