(Fshback, December, 1474)

  The residents of the state capital of Matsumoto Colony Elements Cauldron were gathered in the town square. The men citizens were dressed in bck suits while the women wore bck dresses. The children were dressed identically by their gender. They gazed up at two sets of gallows with guillotines. They watched as a male and a female were escorted to the top of the gallows. The male had tan skin with ice blue eyes. He had pointed wolf ears that protruded from his bck shoulder-length hair. He wore a dark gray cloak that covered his body.

  The female had pale skin with purple eyes and mid-back-length white hair. She sported a white Chinese-style hanfu dress with purple. In the breast area of the dress were purple thorn flowers while the lower half was completely white. Around her neck was an amethyst connected by a silver chain. Soon their escorts stood on opposite sides of their guillotines. They both wore bck suits with bck bow ties and bck dress shoes.

  The governor of the state stood a few feet away. He had a robust build with pale skin, short gray hair, and a thick curled mustache. His green eyes were lit with excitement and vigor. He wore a white tuxedo with a bck bow tie and bck leather boots. On his left hip was a silver pistol.

  The first male next to the male criminal had pale skin with short bck hair and brown eyes. The one had fair skin with blonde hair and blue eyes. On their hips were sheathed katanas. Meanwhile, an adolescent male ran through the forest. He had pale skin with neck-length bck hair with fringes that covered his blue eyes. He had on a bck and white hakama with white socks and wooden sandals. Resting on his left hip was a bck-sheathed sword with a gold and white handle. Twenty minutes ter the teen arrived in the town square.

  "Stop!" the male yelled.

  "Silence! These two committed the ultimate crime and they shall pay with their lives." the governor bellowed.

  He then locked eye contact with the adolescent.

  "They loved each other and that's reason enough not to kill them!" the teen reasoned.

  "No infraction is too small. People of Elements Cauldron, these two secretly married which is against the country of Deltonia's Law. They probably bore a child too! A demon and a human uniting is unnatural and will be dealt with in the highest severity."

  The governor then gnced over at the two in their guillotines.

  "Behead them now!"

  The two men drew their swords and beheaded them.

  "No!" the teen screamed.

  He was then enveloped by a purple orb of light that ascended into the sky.

  (Present Day, June 1985)

  The current country of Deltonia is comprised of five republics. To the west is Deltonia West, to the north is Auilr, to the east is Misaki Republic, in the heart of Deltonia is New Natalie, and in the south is Reneveaux. The country's capital, Charleston, is in the southeast near the Pacific Ocean.

  Seventeen-year-old Kiseki Ko lives in central Misaki Republic with his parents in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. Kiseki is asleep in his bedroom when his arm clock rings. He zily reaches over and presses the button to silence the silver contraption. He feels a sticky wetness in his neither region and pulls back his blue comforter.

  "Ah, not another semen swimmer!" Kiseki groans.

  He gets out of bed and removes his linen.

  After loading his clothes into the washing machine Kiseki returns to his bedroom. He takes a moment and looks around his bedroom. His walls are dark blue with white baseboards. Up against the back wall is a full-sized bed. The mattress sits on a white box spring and an oak wood bed frame with a headboard and footboard. To the left of the bed is a matching nightstand. A few feet away is a folding door closet.

  Also on that side is a window and an oak wood dresser with a horizontal mirror. Kiseki smiles proudly while looking at several articles of dirty clothes on the floor.

  "It's the first day of school," Kiseki says before going to his bathroom

  The walls are white with white baseboards. To the left is the counter. In the middle is a white oval sink with a metal faucet with two knobs. Above the counter is a horizontal mirror cabinet.

  Kiseki turns on the shower and undresses. He takes a moment and stares at his reflection. He has a slight muscur definition specifically in his arms and abdomen. He has neck-length brown hair with white streaks that fall into his eyes. He has almond-brown eyes. He goes and checks the water temperature. Feeling it's hot enough he steps in and pulls the curtain back and steps in.

  He lets the water hit his body. He grabs a mint-green sponge and a gcier-blue bar of soap. His parents Cain and Yoshiko are in the dining room. Cain is sitting at the table reading the newspaper. He is in his te thirties with fair skin and short bck hair that's styled in a comb-over. His almond-brown eyes are consumed by the article that he's reading. His lean build is masked by his blue jumpsuit.

  On his feet are a pair of bck leather work boots. Yoshiko sets a pte of pancakes, biscuits, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage in front of Cain before kissing his left temple.

  Yoshiko has fair skin with light gray eyes. Her shoulder-length bck hair is pulled back into a rge bun. She has a slender shape that's covered by a short-sleeve bright yellow top with white flowers, white pants, and ft yellow leather shoes. Around her neck is a white apron.

  "You have another hour and a half before work. I hope this helps to ease your misery about your job." Yoshiko says sweetly.

  Cain looks up at her and smiles before pecking her on her lips.

  "That is not how I wanted to start my day," Kiseki says disgustedly.

  Kiseki is wearing his school uniform which consists of a white button-down shirt, a bck tie, a burgundy bzer with bck pels, gray pants, and bck leather dress shoes. His hair is resting on his neck with a fringe on his forehead. Over his right shoulder is a bck backpack.

  "People in love always kiss each other son. You'll be kissing your wife someday." Cain says gncing over at him.

  "I know but you're my parents. Some things a child just isn't supposed to see." Kiseki says with conviction heading over to the dining room table and sitting down.

  "Good morning sweetheart," Yoshiko says warmly looking at her son.

  "Good morning, Mom."

  "So, are you excited about your first day at Misaki-Owens Academy?"

  Cain closes his newspaper and pces it beside his pte.

  "As much as that tuition costs he better love it," Cain says grumpily grabbing his fork and knife.

  "It's a prestigious education institute that only caters to rich kids. How exactly did you get me in there?"

  "The current principal is my best friend and he owed me a favor," Cain says pcing some pancakes in his mouth.

  "So, what you're saying is I didn't get in on my merit or hard work?" Kiseki asks shakily.

  "No. I'm saying this favor goes way before you were a thought."

  Yoshiko pces a pte before Kiseki.

  "Cain you're belittling his accomplishments and that's wrong!" Yoshiko scolds.

  She then gives Kiseki her attention.

  "You got into Misaki-Owens Academy on your own, don't you ever question that," Yoshiko says reassuringly running her hand through his hair.

  The remainder of breakfast is silent.

  Thirty minutes ter Kiseki is running down the sidewalk with a worried expression. During his run, he bumps into someone.

  "Watch where you're going freshman!" an offended male says.

  "Sorry man." Kiseki apologizes.

  When he reaches the school entrance, he looks at Misaki Republic Academy. Kiseki is walking down the hallway to the cafeteria. On both sides of the hallway are pearl white lockers. The floors are minate with a glossy finish. Hanging on the walls are college fgs and positive quote posters. Upon entering the cafeteria Kiseki notices that it's filled with students. Kiseki looks to the back of the room where he finds an empty table.

  Upon arriving he sits down and takes a moment to drink the body of students. He sees all the students wearing different variants of the school uniform. He closes his eyes inhaling and exhaling heavily. When he reopens them he sees a female sitting beside him.

  She has pale skin and back-length burgundy hair with a Chinese bang. Her electric blue eyes are dancing in excitement and optimism. Her C-cup breasts and slender physique are veiled by her uniform. Her uniform consists of an all-bck bzer, knee-length skirt, bck knee-length socks, and bck loafers.

  "I'm sorry I wasn't sure if this was taken or not. I'll leave if you want." the girl says nervously in a kitten-like voice.

  A red tint stains Kiseki's cheeks.

  "Oh no it's fine. It looks like the students already knew each other before coming here. I'm Kiseki Ko by the way." Kiseki says kindly extending his hand.

  "I'm Lotus Hana. It's a pleasure to meet you Kiseki." Lotus says shaking his hand.

  "So, are you looking forward to the school year?"

  "Not really. I'm dreading Calculus." Kiseki groans dropping his head.

  "Don't worry about Calculus I can tutor you if you'd like."

  Kiseki swiftly lifts his head smiling.

  "Thank you so much Lotus!" Kiseki says csping his hands.

  "You're welcome."

  The remainder of their time is dominated by gleeful conversation.

  Out in the hallway, a girl is pressed up against a locker. She is clutching her backpack close to her chest. She has fair skin with a petite frame, short brown hair, and brown eyes. Her hair is styled in a center-parted asymmetrical bob. She's wearing a white button-down shirt, a bck crosstie, a wavy skirt, knee-length socks, and gray loafers. She is looking up into the eyes of Jodan Yamaguchi. He has pale skin, short blonde hair that's styled in a faux hawk style, and sea-green eyes.

  He has ear piercings on his left ear along with an industrial bar. His uniform consists of a half-buttoned white shirt, a hanging tie, gray scks, and white leather dress shoes.

  His gray-bck bzer is slung over his left shoulder. His right arm is pressed against the locker above the girl's head and he's looking down at her.

  "So, Karan we've been dating since st month and you're still having apprehensions, why is that?" the male asks curiously.

  "W-Well Jodan it's just that you're the first person to ever treat me with respect," Karan says as her cheeks burn as red as bell peppers.

  "It's my job as a man to respect you and your boundaries. I would never hurt you and if I ever entertained the idea, I'd end our retionship."

  He then presses his forehead against hers. Feeling their breath mingle Karan closes her eyes and waits for their lips to meet. When that doesn't happen, Karan opens her eyes and sees Jodan looking at her smirking.

  "Why don't you kiss me Jodan?"

  Jodan leans down and presses his lips against hers and she melts. When they part for air they peer into each other's eyes.

  "That was wonderful."

  Jodan bites his lip.

  "It was, and now we have to get to the cafeteria."

  They leave the locker and head towards the cafeteria.

  Up on the second floor, Yukanna Senshi is searching for her locker. She has pale skin, dark gray eyes, and back-length straight purple hair. Her hair is pulled back into a rge nicely kept bun. She is wearing a burgundy bzer, a white button-down shirt, a bck tie, gray scks, and bck dress shoes. In her right hand is a paper depicting the school floor pn. In her left hand is a chocote brown leather messenger bag. While her attention is on her map she hears whistling and catcalling and ignores them.

  "Hey girl why don't you let me give you a vanil milkshake." one of the males taunts walking towards her.

  "Do you hear me talking to you?!" the male asks, grabbing her left shoulder.

  The female turns around and pces her right forearm against his throat and bum rushes him into one of the lockers behind him.

  "If you touch me again, I will sever your penis and scrotum and mail them to your mother! Do you understand me?!" Yukanna asks coldly.

  "Y-Yeah." the male stutters now pale as a fish's belly.

  Yukanna releases his neck and shoves him in the opposite direction. The teen looks at her trembling fearfully before running off. Yukanna resumes her journey finds her locker and enters the combination.

  On the first floor inside the girl's restroom is Ai Minami. She is standing at the middle sink applying bck eyeliner. She has fair skin with almond-brown eyes. Her neck-length brown hair is styled in tight curls with a swoop covering her forehead. Her uniform consists of a gray bzer, a white button-down shirt, a bck cross-tie, a gray wavy mid-thigh skirt, and a pair of gray suede three-inch pointed stilettos.

  After finishing with her eyeliner, she applies red lipstick to her bow tie-shaped lips.

  "You are the most beautiful girl in all of Deltonia. Any boy would be an absolute fool to deny you."

  After smacking her lips she puts her lipstick inside her backpack and exits the restroom.

  Outside in the courtyard sitting under a rge oak tree is Chishiki Muchi. He has fair skin with short white hair with a fringe that falls symmetrically over his orange eyes. On his face rests a pair of bck rectangur eyegsses. His uniform consists of a bck bzer, a white button-down shirt, a bck tie, white scks, and bck leather dress shoes. Beside him is a bck messenger bag. His left leg is bent while his right leg is resting on the grass.

  "I wonder what this school year will bring," Chishiki says grabbing his book and standing up.

  He dusts himself off pces his book inside his bag and walks inside.

  Kiseki and Lotus are looking at their schedules.

  "My first period is Calculus." Kiseki groans.

  Lotus smiles at him.

  "So do I so you don't have to worry about being lost or left behind. I'll be right there beside you." Lotus encourages giving him an accompanying thumbs up.

  Kiseki's nervousness quickly dissipates.

  "Thank you!" Kiseki says as the bell rings.

  Kiseki and Lotus stand up and head out into the hallway.

  They find their Calculus css on the first floor on the opposite side. Upon entering they see math formus on the wall. The desks are separate with oak wood surface and cubby's underneath. The desk chairs are burgundy and cushioned. At the front of the cssroom is a mahogany rectangur desk with a forest green cushion chair behind it. Behind the teacher's desk is a green chalkboard. On it is a warm-up sponge.

  Kiseki and Lotus find themselves in the middle row beside each other. They take out their notebooks and pencils and start their assignment.

  Moments ter other students start filing into the cssroom with Chishiki among them. Ai is sitting in the southwest row near the window. She takes a moment to look around the cssroom. When she catches a glimpse of Kiseki she blushes. Tai takes a seat behind Kiseki. The st to enter is their professor Lawrence Moth. He is forty-five years old. He has caramel skin with brown eyes.

  His short blond hair is styled in a parted comb over. He is wearing a chocote brown button-down shirt with beige khaki pants and brown leather shoes. On his left wrist is a gold watch and on his right is a white mug filled with coffee.

  "Good morning css. On your desks are your sylbuses for this school year. On it, you will find everything you need to succeed here. Trust me when I say it's not hard whatsoever. But it will be challenging. It wouldn't be life without any. Also on the board is your first warm-up sponge. All I ask is that you try your best and don't let your best be half-stepping." Professor Lawrence says going to his desk.

  "This is all mumbo jumbo to me." Kiseki gripes running his hands through his hair.

  "No one cares to hear you compin about what you can't do. Either you get with it, or you shut your mouth." Chishiki says bluntly getting Kiseki's attention.

  "There's no need for you to be rude, he's just speaking out loud." Lotus defends.

  "Thanks, Lotus," Kiseki says warmly.

  She smiles back before Kiseki returns his eyes to Chishiki.

  "What is your problem?"

  "I don't have a problem. You're the one spewing unasked questions nonsense into the atmosphere. Now turn around and finish doing what our professor has instructed us to do." Chishiki says coldly while pushing his gsses onto his face.

  "Why you-"

  "Kiseki" Lotus says getting his attention.

  She shakes her head and Kiseki returns to his assignment.

  Ai meanwhile is incensed.

  "Are they dating each other? I'll find out before today is over." Ai says before giving her attention to the chalkboard.

  Yukanna is in Deltonia History css. Like the Calculus cssroom, the history cssroom has the same desks except the chairs are ice-white cushioned. Yukanna is reading a passage from her assigned section for the day. While taking notes a paper airpne nds on her desk. She stops writing and opens it up.

  'You're beautiful. Are you single? Well even if you have a boyfriend, I'll take you from him and make you feel like he never could.' the note reads.

  Yukanna scoffs disgusted before scouring the cssroom for the sender. When she sees a pair of pearly white teeth smiling at her she recognizes him immediately.

  "Did he not get enough this morning?" Yukanna asks balling up the paper and pcing it in the top left corner of her desk.

  Deep in the forest of Misaki-Owens stands a four-hundred-year-old gray brick Sengoku-era castle. It is surrounded by cherry blossom trees. A bck wooden bridge connects the castle to the outside world. Upon entering through the dark gray double doors there's a horizontal hallway. Heading left leads to the conference room and sleeping quarters. Turning right leads to the kitchen and dining room. Straight ahead is another set of double doors that lead to the throne room.

  The conference room has a white marble countertop table with nine brown Medieval chairs surrounding it. The floors are hardwood, and the walls are white with blood sptter decorating them. Hanging behind the conference table is a projection screen.

  Sitting around the table are seven individuals. On the left side sit a female and a male. On the right are another male and two females and at the head and tail of the table sit a male and a female. The male at the head of the table is Rei. He has pale skin with light brown eyes. His face is masked by a hooded cloak. Resting on his back is a rge, sheathed halberd. Underneath he's wearing bck leather pants and bck boots with a spiked ball around the ankle.

  The female on his right has fair skin, light gray eyes, breast breast-length wine-red hair that's styled in yered feathers. She has a pear shape with a thirty-four-bust line. She is wearing a light gray jean outfit that consists of a jacket, a strapless zippered top, fitted jeans, and three-inch burgundy leather pointed-toe high-heel boots. Her only makeup accessories are bck eyeliner and burgundy lipstick. On her left breast is an engraved tattoo. It has the letter H and the number one beside it.

  The male beside her has dark brown skin, golden eyes, and bck spiky hair. His brawny build is on dispy. He is wearing a sleeveless bck hakama and bck harem pants with gold lightning bolts. On his feet are ft gold pointed-toe boots. Around his waist is a gold sash with bck lightning bolts. On his forearms are bck metal gauntlets with gold trim. His tattoo is located below his navel.

  Across from the first female sits another female. She has pale skin and a slender physique. She has mid-back length ptinum blonde hair that she wears in loose curls. On her forehead rests a curled bang. She has gray-blue eyes and supple lips. On her upper eyelids is bck eye shadow. On her lower eyelids is bck eyeliner.

  In her ears are bck studs. Totsu Joo sports a bck form-fitting romper masked by a bck leather hooded cloak. Her tattoo is located on her on her left rear shoulder.

  The man next to her has short orange hair that's styled in a parted comb-over. He has red eyes with bow tie-shaped lips. He wears a white military uniform with fme-red epaulets and buttons and knee-length red leather boots. His tattoo is located on his upper right arm.

  The third female has a mocha complexion with brown eyes, bck mid-back length hair, and heart-shaped lips. She's wearing a strapless bck floor-length dress and bck suede round-toe stilettos. Her tattoo rests on her outer right thigh.

  The st female has pale skin. She's wearing a sleeveless form-fitting bck leather dress with a gray leather stomach belt and bck leather round-toe pumps. On her arms are elbow-length gray leather gloves. Her face is made up of gray eye shadow, bck eyeliner, and bck lipstick.

  She has long wavy bck hair with fringes. She has pale skin with gray-blue eyes. She has a tattoo of a bull in the lower left region of her stomach. She's wearing a sleeveless leather jacket, a bck sweetheart-styled tube top, bck ce finger-less gloves, gray jeans, and bck wedge heel boots. Rei looks over at the female and male on his right.

  "My dear subordinates my precious gemstones are finally of age. However, their potential is untapped thus deeming them unpredictable. Rika, I need you and Suto to scout central Deltonia for a scientist who's knowledgeable and skilled enough to recreate Yoroi's Amulet. If they fail to comply or attempt to negotiate, well I need not to expin more." Rei says confidently.

  Understood sir." Rika says in a raspy southern accent.

  Rei gives his attention to the individuals on his left.

  "Totsu Joo, I need you to go and retrieve Mizu, she's been free long enough. Kaen I need you to bring me another candidate for experimentation."

  Kaen nods his head. Rei looks at the female across from him.

  "Robin, as always I want you to guard the castle,"

  Robin smiles confidently.

  "Yes, Master," Robin says bowing her head.

  "Eiri's already on an assignment. Alright my Hallow Phantoms, go!"

  Everyone stands to their feet.

  Rika bends her knees before jumping into the air and disappearing, Suto is enveloped by a lightning bolt, Totsu Joo is engulfed by gray smoke, Kaen is engulfed in fmes and Robin morphs into a bck robin and flies out of the room.

  "Come, Lolita, let's head to the throne room and observe everyone's progress," Rei says smoothly and they leave the conference room.

  Not far from the castle guardian priestess Katsumi is standing on a forest clifftop. She has pale skin with back-length golden brown hair and light blue eyes. Resting in front of her forehead is a Chinese bang. Adorning her head is a silver circle with two protruding deer horns. In the center of the circle sits a ruby. She's wearing an olive-green furisode with umber trim. It is hanging securely around her shoulders.

  The wind then begins blowing and a serpentine dragon appears around her. It has red eyes with bck skin and a light gray underbelly.

  "Evil is about to enter the home of goodness and our old friend Rei is at the helm. I will stop you, no matter what." Katsumi says before turning and e
