The night arrived as the light inside the room gets dimmer and darker.

  I gnced towards the window and realized that it's getting te.

  "It's night already? That was fast."

  [It didn't seem that fast to me though.....]

  "Guess it's only to me then hehe. "

  [Nnn...]

  Me and Diana are just chatting side by side on the bed with our shoulder leaned on each other.

  Diana is now wearing a clean set of pin clothes that the maids had dressed her up with. Her skin is not that dirty anymore however the bruises and some small scars can still be seen on her skin.

  "So, we are really finally going out tomorrow."

  She muttered to herself as she recalled our conversation from a while ago. Also, I noticed Diana twiddling her fingers around.

  "I kind of feel a bit, nervous... "

  Hmmm?

  [Why? If anything, you should feel excited at least that we are finally getting out from this pce.]

  She then looked towards and me and faintly smiled before looking back down.

  "I don't know either, when I tried to escape, I always get caught. Maybe I am scared? Like that?"

  ...

  So, is she telling me that she is nervous just in case we fail this escape?

  Well, I kind of understand that. The pressure of needing to be careful and needed to escape as quickly as possible is weighing on my mind, but even so, I don't think that we will fail this escape, and if things get worse then it will only be me getting some damage.

  I raised my hand and patted Diana on the head.

  [We will escape and that's for sure, you don't need to worry about it... I promise that.]

  "Okay."

  Just nodded and the both of us stayed quiet for a while.

  ...

  I closed my eyes and just started thinking about my pns for tomorrow.

  There are still many things that I will need to think about like how will I move? where will we go? and what will happen after we escape?

  It would be nice if I have a better grasp of the structure and floors of this house.

  If only I could explore right now...

  I opened my eyes again and just stared at the wall and floor where the light coming from window is reflecting.

  ......

  .... Wait a minute.

  !!?

  I immediately turned my head towards the window.

  That's it!

  If I wanted to explore this pce, then I could use that!

  "Ummm what are you doing?"

  Diana just bnkly stared at me while being curious why I am just looking at the window.

  [Diana, I want to go outside and scout this pce out. I think it will be easier for us tomorrow if we can at least know more about the location of the exits of this pce.]

  "Eeeh!? Right now? But how will you go outside?"

  [Throw me up there. ]

  "Up there?"

  I pointed towards the windows in which Diana also followed.

  "Ehhh really?"

  Diana quickly looked back to me for confirmation I'm which I just nodded in return.

  [I am small if I use my doll form, so, I think I can fit there.... Also, I would be fine if I fall after you throw me up there.]

  "Isn't that dangerous?"

  [Well, if I am still a human being then yeah it will be dangerous, but I am a doll now so I cannot feel any physical pain. If I fall or get punched I won't really feel anything.]

  "But..... "

  She really gets so easily worried huh....

  I sighed to myself and stood up.

  "Uhmmm are you really going to do it?"

  She held my dress as she asked me with a worried voice.

  [Yes.... And don't worry, I will just be gone for a short while but I will still try to return quickly if possible.]

  "Then..... Uhmmmm... Please be careful..."

  She hesitantly loosed her grip on my dress before removing her hand from it.

  [I know.]

  After that, I transformed back to my doll form and let Diana picked me up.

  She then stood up while carrying me and walked towards the part of the wall where the window was.

  She looked at it from below and raised me up. Yup, she should throw me up there since I won't reach it by her just lifting me.

  [You definitely need to throw me....]

  "I know."

  She then pulled back the hand that she is using to hold me as if preparing it and gaining momentum.

  You can do it Diana! I silently cheered.

  "Poi!"

  And shortly after that I found myself getting thrown upwards towards the wall.

  I then hit the metal bar on the wall and then wrap my arms around it trying to embrace so that I wouldn't fall.

  Hold it!!

  I spun around it for a bit but then finally stopped when the other bar hit my body.

  Hmmmu

  Since I feel like I'm fine now, I then stood up and turned my head to peek outside.

  ....

  Wow.

  It was dark for the most part near me but I could also see a group of white lights from far away.

  Those white lights? Could it be the lights of the town?

  I wondered for a bit but I then quickly shifted back my focus on my main task.

  Lets see.... What do we have here then.

  I then looked below me and when I did, I immediately felt goosebumps.

  This is...

  ....Very high isn't it?

  The ground seems so far away, it was like this is a 3 story building and we are in the top floor.

  There was a stone road and also some bushes on the side of it.

  The wall was straight leading down as there were no part of it that could be used as a ledge.

  Seems like I need to dive right in huh....

  There is nothing I could use as a ptform so this is the only way down.

  Hahaha.... This feels a bit, nerve wracking.

  I then looked back towards Diana and saw her just watching me while she clenched both of hand together.

  "Doll-san..... "

  She still looks so worried about me in which I found to be adorable for some reason.

  Diana.....

  .....Right, I am doing this for the both of us. This is necessary and I should do it. This is definitely not the time for me to hesitate.

  I then mentally prepared myself to do the fall in which I would say, a bit terrifying.

  [Just stay put okay, I will be back. ]

  I turned my back again and now I am looking towards the ground that seems so far down below me.

  Hahaha... Never in my life that I expect to jump from a very high pce without any safety gear on me. In movies and games, these are what vilins do when they are falling back. And in reality, it's basically suicide and a one-way trip to heaven.

  I ughed to myself and gulped.

  I really am doing it.

  This is so scary.

  But....

  There is no going back now.

  I hesitantly walked and slowly positioned myself on the ledge and took a deep breath.

  Ahhh.......

  It's really scary!!

  I stood still trying to calm myself down. If I were still a human, I could clearly imagine myself shaking like an animal whose been wet and cold from the rain.

  I then inhaled and exhaled.

  If I don't do this then we won't progress. And if we don't progress then it might hinder us more...

  I then recalled the memories I had here and the sight of Diana being abused.

  Guuuuu.

  What am I doing! I promise that I would do everything for us to escape. this is no time to be scared!

  Fine!!! I will jump!

  I then bent down and prepared myself to jump.

  I jumped and closed my eyes.

  AAhhhhh!!!!!

  I can't see anything, but I could hear the sound of the strong wind passing my ears as I fall down.

  I then slowly opened my eyes all that I could see is the fast transition of the wall as I fall and of course the distant view of the ground in which was quickly getting closer to me.

  Hiiieeee!!!!

  A strong feeling of fear spiked within me making me close my eyes again.

  ...

  ....

  *Thud*

  That sound??

  After a moment, I then slowly reopened my eyes and didn't try to move.

  Or should I say, I couldn't find myself to move for a short bit.

  The heck....

  That is so freaking thrilling and terrifying.

  Pffft.

  I ughed to myself as I remembered the feeling of jumping from a high pce without any safe equipment or tools.

  That's certainly a truly fresh experience for me.

  Good thing I have this body or else I would've suffered injuries or even death.

  After ughing and calming myself down, I slowly stood back up, regain my bance and began checking my surroundings.

  There was a wall besides me and I can also see the bushes that are lined up in front me which then also give me cover and shade.

  I cautiously walked inside the bushes and peeked at the spots that are not covered by the leaves. I then check every side to see if there are any people who might be approaching this way.

  ...

  ....

  No one?

  I guess that helps.

  Seeing that no one was arriving I then decided to begin moving inside the bushes to whatever direction it may bring me.

  I moved quickly as I travel and change bushes while searching for the exit or the gate.

  I continued walking for several minutes that felt like hours. I then stopped walking when I suddenly stumbled upon an area that looks like a garden.

  Wow....

  Before me is an arched shaped gate entrance that is covered with pnts and leaves.

  .... Hmmm, this is definitely the garden, right?

  It was a garden full of rge bushes and pnts, there were also trees on the far side of it in which I guess is the border of this garden.

  Guess I finally made some progress huh, let's see where we are now and how far we are from the mansion right now.

  I looked back towards the mansion and saw that it was a few distance away and I also learned that my current location is still at the back of it.

  It really is a huge mansion.....

  I know and expect that a noble house would be huge but seeing it in person, I couldn't but feel amazed.

  I was looking at the mansion when I finally realized that I was getting off track from my objective.

  Oops, bad bad bad,

  I then shook my head and sighed.

  This is no time to be amazed.

  Now that I'm back on my serious mode, I looked at both sides and observed the surrounding. After observing I then came to my conclusion that there are no people around me yet.

  Good I'm safe, now then, time to move on to my next pn.

  I guess it's about time to change form.

  Since there are many pnts and tall bushes, I then hid behind one of them and changed to my humanoid form.

  Hmmmmu.....

  My view range increased which is a good thing. I could also walk quickly and cover more grounds compared to my doll form that can only walk tiny steps.

  Hmmmu, this feels much more normal.

  I lightly sighed as I finally feel a bit rexed and comfortable.

  Now that I am finally in this form, I can feel like a normal human. When I was in my doll form, everything that I see really looks rge and gigantic.

  And the distance of objects and pces that I can see looks very far away from my point of view.

  I sighed before starting walking around the garden to see if I could find an exit like a back gate or something.

  I continued walking and searching hoping to find something, it took me a while until I finally reach the trees from the far back and saw that there are only tall walls.

  Darn it.... Is there really no way here?

  I stared at it for a while as I think of ideas.

  I was thinking of climbing a tree that is a bit bigger than the walls to see what's behind it.

  I turned and looked around to for a tall tree that I could I climb.

  I saw one and climbed it only to see that beyond the walls are just trees leading to the unknown.

  A forest??

  Hmmmm... Wait, maybe it will work.

  Seeing that this is just a forest, I think it would be a good path to take since when it comes to escaping in the shadows and losing pursuers that might come after us.

  Yep, it's good but.... How will me and Diana climb this wall first?

  I rested my chin on my hand while trying to figure out a way to climb the wall.

  ....

  ...

  A dder?

  That might be good but, it would take time for us to climb it especially if someone is chasing after us. Not to mention climbing back down on the other side which again would take a lot of time if we then tried to carry the dder to put it on the opposite side. Also, the dder must also be tall, enough to reach the top of the wall.

  But of course, the question first is.

  Does this pce even have a dder? If so, where is it?

  The storage room perhaps? Or maybe a tool storeroom? The weaponry room? Well, I don't know.

  Hmmmm.....

  I tried to rack my brains trying to guess and think but seeing that I'm just getting nowhere, I immediately stopped and gave up.

  Hmmm, you know what, let's just go back in scouting around the house first.

  I jumped down from the tree in which I know will be safe since I won't take any damage.

  I walked backed to the entrance of the garden until suddenly, I heard noises that seems to be approaching my area. I squinted my eyes and looked towards the direction that the sounds are coming from.

  Wait.... Could it be?

  Guards!?

  As I come to that conclusion, I hurriedly crouched and hid behind the bushes while focusing more to their sounds.

  What should I do now?

  It's hard to make a decision as I don't know their numbers yet.

  If there was only one person, then I guess I can just silence him.

  But if it's a group then, all I can do for now is hide and not expose myself.

  I waited for the source of the sound to get nearer, and after a short while, I then took a sneak peek trying to see what I am currently dealing with.

  Let's see.....

  There are two people who are talking to each other as they walked towards my location.

  Those two people with one of them is holding a mp has a sword in their waist which indicates that they are really the guards that seems to patrol this area.

  Only two people huh, I think I can be able to handle this.

  I just waited behind the bush while picking out ways on how to deal with them. And after a while of pondering of ideas, I finally decided on what idea works best.

  Got it....

  Once I finally have an idea, it's about time to put it in action.

  I smiled and moved through the shadows to position myself from them.

  It's time to py the deadly game....
