Chapter 2 - Untitled

  Law's POV

Robin immediately dashed toward the sound of Miki's panicked voice.

"Wait, let me handle this!" I called out, urgency lacing my tone.

"If you do, make sure she comes back unharmed," Robin shot back, his expression gravely serious.

  "Got it. ROOM, SHAMBLES!"

In an instant, I was transported behind Kid, standing beside a visibly shaken Miki, her eyes wide with fear. I quickly scooped her up, cradling her in my arms like a fragile treasure, and took off running. "ROOM, SHAMBLES!" I shouted again as the world around us shifted.

As I sprinted, my breath came in heavy gasps, a mix of adrenaline and concern surging through me. "Are you okay? Did Kid touch you or hurt you?" I asked, my voice trembling with worry. I was taken aback by the depth of concern that flooded over me and quickly hid my concern and worry, worrying it might ruin my reputation as a student council President.

Suddenly, I was cornered, trapped between the wall and his imposing figure. He leaned in, trying to kiss me, and I felt utterly helpless. That's when I spotted a white fuzzy hat with black spots speeding this way.

"Law? What's he doing here?" I thought.

Law charged in, scooping me up effortlessly, arms and carrying me away, bridal style. After a quick teleport, he set me down gently.

"Are you alright? Did Kid hurt you in any way?" he asked earnestly.

Could the Law be concerned for me? Honestly, I didn't want to think about it.

"No, and no. I'm just mentally scarred for life. But thank you for saving me," I replied with a sigh, "I don't want to call you Law. You know what your nickname is, Traffy."

"Don't mention it," replied Law, "Robin-ya insisted I help you, and please no nicknames."

Nah, I'll call you Traffy. Also, where's Robin?" I asked.

"MIKI! Are you okay? Did he touch you or harm you in any way?" asked rapid-firing questions after questions.

"Yes, I am okay. But Robin, is it true that I wasn't transferred to this school?"

"No, you are," she said, confused by my question.

"Robin, you're not abusing your power as vice student council president, right?" asked Law.

"No, why would I?" she responded, confused.

"Just making sure," he said flatly, "Miki, you should go to class."
