After Titus turned Dave into his third host, he began to consider his immediate next targets, recalling two individuals who needed to be dealt with. One is Gomez, the guy who Maria thought sabotaged her. Their interactions suggest a strong animosity between them. Titus always kept him in his mind, fortunately he didn't appear in farm35. He keeps watch over Maria, and could discover and report everything.

  The second is Dave's girlfriend. Titus doesn't remember much about her but remembers Dave talked to her before. She is his target for now, and her closeness to Dave means she could instantly recognize something is wrong. He has to go to Dave's house for today, tomorrow he takes out Gomez.

  Now he has the room in his control, but there is still the camera problem. Securing that room is his second priority. For now, Titus acts as if nothing happened and continues working and makes Dave work for the time being.

  "Lumina, bring me the list of my marked traits," he said with his mind.

  He thinks for some time and chooses the DNA consumption.

  "Buy DNA consumption for 2000 varloon."

  "Better late than never, I guess." He thinks.

  Looking back, he ate 30 leechers and needs 70 more. He gets to the job, with no need for any rush; he has all the time in the world. Taking only 5 through the day gives him enough to have a steady varloon gain and avoid suspension, though he is going to take over the camera room to make things even easier.

  While Dave works, Maria is sent to restock. With everything set, he gets out of Dave's body and goes toward the vent. He freezes for a second, it's small for him now.   Going home and making Dave clean the house, he leaves the body and finds the best position to hide.

  Liam is going to Dave's house, he is happy to see the message he sent. He really loves him but doesn't know if he thinks the same way. Taking things slow had given him the chance to go on a date with Liam, and now, after a business trip, he had invited him for dinner.

He screams and asks Dave for help, but when he looks at Dave, he can't move anymore. Dave is just looking at him with teary eyes. After a second, a big smile forms on his lips, his tears fall but there is nothing both of them can do. They were done from the start with no chance, and obviously, there is not going to be any second chance.

  "This is good. Lumina, use this on all of my hosts," Titus says.

  "This ability is going to give you the professional knowledge the hosts have. You cannot visit the memories directly. You want to continue?"

  When the word leaves his mouth, a flood of information on every host's profession gets inside his head. He learns biology; though he can't recall specific animals, the knowledge is now ingrained. He learns self-defense from Gabriel's memory, and learns how to cook professionally from Liam's. Now he can fake everything without faking it.

  The next day was uneventful. Maria and Dave leave early. This gave Gomez time to sabotage them. Gomez hates Maria. He was nearly caught doing illegal exporting thanks to her, but because "the evidence was insufficient," he was not arrested. Though that was enough to put her on his blacklist.

  The M.O. Entertainment Organization shows no regard for inland political systems. They are the owners of the planet. With how many they keep under their hand, it would be unwise to force them all into one organized system. Because of their environment and racial differences, this sort of thing is organized by the planet itself, giving more autonomy to the planet, creating problems like a justice system full of corruption, which gave Gomez time to buy himself out.

  Now Gomez is searching for something big to destroy Maria. He has been planning her downfall for some time, and he tampered with the device and planted an explosive inside it. Given this is not his first time failing, Since this is not his first time failing, this time he brought a friend along.

  Inside the lab, they walk slowly with their flashlights. They took care of the cameras before they got here, but they didn't see the monster crawling around.
