As Isaac was stabbed by the woman Val watched everything, feeling fear and anger building up in him until it burst out causing him to let out a roar. He broke through the ropes and before he realized it he was next to Isaac. Kicking the woman away from him Val calmly laid Isaac down.
“You are so reckless. Why did you have to antagonize her?” As Val held Isaac he began to cry. Isaac reached up his hand and caressed Val’s face. [I will be okay, my love. She missed my heart and it’s not like this is the first time I have been stabbed. With some simple magic I will recover.] With a slight chuckle Isaac soon winced in pain causing Val to feel even more anger. “I don’t care if you have been hurt before! I don’t care if you think you will be fine! I don’t want to see you being hurt. I was so worried that you would die. Please don’t do that again.”
Isaac paused seeing Val cry even harder while holding him. [I’m sorry Val, sometimes I forget that others actually care about me. I am so used to being forgotten and abused that I’m not used to it. I promise I will do my best to not do it again.] Wiping away Val’s tears Isaac smiled. [Now can you do me a favor and get rid of those things over there so we can go home. Oh and please take this knife out of me so I can focus on healing while you fight.] Returning the smile Val responded. “Of course, but you owe me. Now don't move so you don’t make your injury worse.” Isaac nodded as Val carefully laid him on the ground before quickly pulling out the knife. As Isaac grunted in pain Val apologized before standing up.
Glaring over to the people in robes Val felt his rage burning like a flame. How dare these disgusting things hurt his friend. As the rage grew more and more the horns on his head began to grow longer as his arms and neck were slowly covered in silver scales. With a roar he shot forward towards the first robed person. Taking the dagger he had he stabbed it into the neck of the man causing the man to scream and Val to begin to shake as this was his first kill. He immediately felt regret as the feeling of the knife slicing through flesh shook him to his core. He felt bile rising in his throat as he wanted to throw up but he decided to do his best to suppress the feeling. He can deal with it later but for now he has to finish off the other people.

“1 down and 4 to go.” Moving to the next one this one had expected Val’s attack so before he could be killed he stabbed out with his knife towards Val’s neck. However unfortunately for the man the scales on Val’s neck protected him while the knife only left a scratch. Val let his instincts take over as his fingers shifted into claws which he used to stab through the man's chest. At this point Val was finding it really hard to suppress the fear and repulsion he felt as he fell to his knees and began to vomit.
At this moment the crazed lady walked up to Val and tried to stab him with another knife she had hidden in her robes. Isaac saw this as he stood up and rushed over to Val. He realized he wouldn’t make it in time so he began to draw a rune in the air. He felt a surge of energy through his body as he saw an illusory tail appear out of his back and begin helping him complete the rune. Right as it was finished he reached Val and faced the woman before yelling out. |Repel!| The spell activated as the woman was launched back.
[Get up Val, I know it is tough when you experience your first kill but we need to deal with these people first.] Isaac began to cough up blood as his wound worsened but he didn’t care as he was just glad to have reached Val in time. Val heard Isaac’s words as he wiped his mouth and took a few deep breaths to get his emotions under control before standing up with shaky legs. “Thanks Isaac I don't know what I would do without you.” [Thank me later for now let us get rid of the rest.] Isaac drew a simple rune in the air before casting his spell on Val. |Enhancement|
As the rune fused into his body he felt a small boost to his power and strength. [This will last for around a minute since I couldn’t give it much energy so make the most of it.] Right after Isaac fell to the ground panting in exhaustion. The last bits of his energy were used to help stop the bleeding of his stab wound so he couldn’t help Val much.
“Don’t worry Isaac. This is plenty enough to help me. I am still nauseous and scared but I will push through.”
