114 days. It's been almost 4 months since I've written even a single word for Starbreaker. It was definitely strange waking up the day after my announcement and not instantly going to royal road to check how many followers I'd gained or how many views my latest chapter got. It felt even stranger staring at "CHAPTER 46", and just having no will to write whatsoever. But, after 114 days the itch in my fingertips has returned and I believe there's no time like the present to start working on starbreakers return.

  Before getting into the specifics I want to thank each and everyone of you, if there even going to be anyone reading this. I took a break from writing over some harsh comments, and instead of being pushing blame or labels onto me, many of you offered kind words and sentiments, wishing me nothing but the best. I'll definitely get around to thanking those of you who reached out to me one on one, but for now I can only thank you all as a collective. You have no idea how much your support means to me. I would be nothing without all of you, so I promise I never have to disappoint any of you ever again.

  Now for the boring stuff.

  While I haven't written anything in these past four months, I've certainly read a good amount, and I believe the path I started on for Starbreaker was the wrong one. Truth be told, I started this series believing it would just be another two-three chapter throwaway that I would delete after it got no traction. But here we are, 75 thousand views and 500 followers later. Which means I truly have to put all my time and effort into this story, and breath new life into it.

  What does this mean exactly?

  Starbreaker will be going through almost a complete re-write.

  Don't worry, Cyrus will still be as clueless, Infra as sinister and Hadeon as indifferent as ever but major plot holes and mistakes need to be fixed. And so my plan moving forward is this. I will be removing all chapter except the first from this version of Starbreaker very soon, leaving only a taste of the story and this announcement up. Once the re-write is done, I will build up a backlog of around 50-100 chapters, meaning in total, Starbreaker will be coming back with around 150 chapters. Not all at once of course. Don't worry, I know the number seems scary, but I promise I won't let anything stop me from getting it out as soon as possible, without jeopardizing the quality.
