Mizuki had had enough.
Enough of Haru’s stupidity. Enough of the misunderstandings. Enough of… whatever weird

So, when she found herself alone with him under the sakura tree, she decided to say it.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
“Haru,” she blurted, “I like you!”
Silence.
The cherry blossoms swayed.
Haru, dazed and confused, blinked. “…Huh?”
Mizuki’s brain crashed.

Her survival instincts kicked in. “I-I MEAN—NOT LIKE THAT!” She flailed. “I like you as a—a
FRIEND! An annoying friend! A perverted, dumb friend who—who needs constant supervision
so he doesn’t ruin his own life!”
Haru just nodded slowly. “Oh… okay?”
“Good!” Mizuki folded her arms, face steaming. “Because it’s not like I’d ever like YOU, you
moron.”
From the sidelines, Ryo sighed. They’re both idiots.
And thus, the confession that wasn’t… remained unresolved.
