  Ivan is alone and lost in the Arctic. That is not usually a problem for his species. Polar bear kin are loners, and the Arctic is their home. However, he is pretty sure his mother has just been killed, and he is only six years old, which is barely a teenager for polar bear kin. He doesn't even have his first class yet.
