Two bells. Unknown party approag. Ele would look up from her training, and raise an eyebrow. If it was Kiko, it wouldn’t be unknown. Did someone spot them and decide to see how exotic it was to be walking around a Kitsune camp? Should be careful, that was the way to gettien. If you believed the rumors, of course. She wondered if that would be ibalism. Were Quasi-Humans distinough from Humans to eat them without aive side effects? Ele pohis as she wao the camp edge. It wasly a when there was an unknown person, but people gathered anyway.
Standing there, anting man wearing something akin to a butler’s uniform that had been modified for orienteering, though mustled and ripped here and there as if he has sprihrough the undergrowth and just tore himself off any branch or bush he got caught on rather than unhooking himself. Certainly a strahing to see out in the wilds, but Mizk approached with the same fidence as ever. Being a tall man with a lot of facial scars, he was an intimidating man, but friendly enough when you got to know him.
“I request Luna Amora” he excimed between short breaths, gasping and trying to get his breath back.
“He requests what?” Ele asked, though Mizk did not look to her, keeping his eye on the man.
“Granted” he would rumble, lifting a hand to the sky, and then pointing it at the man. A moonbeam flew from the mid-day sky, and enveloped the butler, shining brightly for a few seds before fading. That apparently meant something, as he would speak again as it faded.
“I o meet the Den Mother” he would state, fht and fident. Mizk would nod and finally look to Ele.
“Please guide uest to the Den Mother, Ele” he’d state, a formal tone as it was an order.
“Ya gonna tell me what all this is about after?” Ele would ask. She made it so she was going to do what she was told anyway, this was just an auxiliary request. To which he nodded. So she would turn aure with her head towards the big tent.
“So….so, what’s, a Raiju doing in a camp of Kitsunes?” the man would ask, trailng behind. Ele hissed at the question and s him.
“Raiju are Kitsunes, Maka” Sure, it was a rude insult that Yeni would cuff her for using if she heard, but the implication rankled her.
Fortunately for him, she burst through the tent fps before he could get a reply out, and his formal training took over once more. Taking three steps towards Yeni, he would bow with one arm out wide and the other folded just above his waist.
“How formal of you. You are well trained” Yeni would reply, turning from her support of a oail child to the man.
“Thank you, Den Mother. I e with terrible news. It is by ina of my part that a Kitsune of the Kruskis has been kidnapped for ierminate reasoning” he stated, keeping himself prostrated as the words left him.
“Who the fuck kidnap Kiko?” Ele asked, making an educated guess on who he was referring to, given that she was the only one who had left the camp today.
“Tartarus” the Butler replied, and the stiff as the air became bitter cold. Even Ele felt it, though not to the frost-bite degree the poor man was suffering from.
“Ignis ataris” Ele inted, produg heat from her hands that warmed the tent to unfortably cold. And then back to normal once Yeracted her aura.
“Lead me. Ele, tell Mizk to put together a arty. These scum have crossed the line” Yeni’s tone was so gentle, so soft. A so sharp. The man would spring upwards and out of the tent, relief that he was not dead oozing out of every pour. Yeni followed, footsteps so precise ale the skirt gave an illusion of her h. A, despite that, she moved with an unnatural speed that stantly houhe nearly-running butler.
Ele left the tent a looking for Mizk. She wasn’t sure what was going on, it was like Yeni’s outburst had frozen her heart and cooled her temper so that she just…got on with it and didn’t think anything of what she had heard. It would be dealt with, and that was all there was to it. Mizk was found and the iven. He poio a gong which rung loudly through the camp, and theured for Ele to join the muster. She wasn’t on duty right now but he knew she’d appreciate something to dht now. Twenty Kitsunes lined up in the muster ground and were broken into squads of four ao the border to keep watd await further orders.
Yeni, Ele noted, was long gone by this point. She wondered what the woman to, as the artificial ice melted from her heart and began to let her feel emotions again. Panid Anger, were the two that were most prevailing. Her Yin wavered at the influx, and so she took a breath and fought to calm herself. It would not help anyone if she was uo use one of her abilities in a fight.
After a few minutes of sentry duty, one bell rung out and Yeurned. Still so terrifyingly beautiful, moving like a ghost. A despite the ess of the woman, ice followed her every step and Ele felt her hands chill just looking at her. A sean followed, the spectacle of his cool hat ruined somewhat by the fact he was covered his blood. His and others. Ele vibrated with desire to go over and ask what had happened, enough it seemed that Yeni looked over. The freezing stare was enough to put a halt to any thoughts, but Yeni came over anyway aured to him.
“This is La trei of the Bloodsoaked Orchestra. He escorted Kiko to the Megalith and fought for her when they kidnapped her. He has offered his services in the recovery of her, for his oath was there and back. And she did not get back” Yeni would expin. “We are going to find my daughter and in the process eviscerate every st member of Tartaros” she would add on, in such a casual to was like she was talking about the type of tea she wanted.
“Ok” Ele would reply, her brain a block of ice again in Yeni’s presence.
“Mi jira, you are crushing the pirl” La trei would speak up. A sed ter, Ele took a breath she didn’t know she was holding, and staggered a little.
“Sorry, Ele. I should have been ier trol” Yeni would state, her glimmering eyes still holding the eternal tundra of her soul, but at least she was ruding it so much.
“Ele, you say?” He would cup his , and then nod. “I shall accept it. You hold yourself well” He would then turn and head off again, with Yeni giving Ele a cool hand on the shoulder, before heading off with him to do her things. What he ting, she didn’t know. But, it had to be good, since he didn’t try to kill her, and even plimented her. Blood...bloodsoaked. Wasn't the guy who cut up Kiko part of that? Was he...accepting her killing his friend? Shaking her head, she'd jump up and down a bit to get warm - a weird feeling, being cold - and the back to sentry duty.
