He snapped its neck and pulled it off, then struck its chest, pulled out the heart, and began to consume it. He used his Fire Bomb skill at the surrounding alerted Demons. This didn't prove effective in defeating them, but he kept on attacking them, which further weighed them down to the pond. The more he attacked, and almost running out of MP, his Fireball skill leveled up. This time, with a trajectory-changing function, he aimed at effective places in their heads and dived at them. From one Demon he pierced the chest and onto another.
He felt a refreshing feeling as he chewed their fiery hearts, making him not exhausted until he finally took down all the nearby alerted Demons. His Fireball skill got another upgrade. This time, with a form-changing option.

While consuming the Demon hearts, not only did he get an upgrade to all his stats but he also got a mana increase and his mana refilled with a new skill that transformed his flames power to the True Flames itself, having an eerie purple glow. This time, his confidence skyrocketed: "I guess it's time to take out the S-ranked Demon at the top," he thought as he floated upwards.
