{The sound of slightly raised voices is heard from the hallway, before footsteps echo into the room and the door is closed, blocking out the noise}
I: So sorry about that, Darion. Your mother is quite protective of your younger sister.
D: Yeah, she can get like that. I’m guessing who won’t be interviewing her then.
I: No, I afraid not. But lucky for us, you and {checks notes} Ainsley-Cathryn are adults, so we can safely interview you two without risk. Now, we simply have a few questions about Dawn. How close were you with her?

D: Not very. She stayed in her room, and we never really talked. She was a bit strange, but I was teenage boy. I thought she was just being a girl, you know? We moved out around the same time, and I haven’t seen her since.
I: How long did you live together?
D: I was adopted about 4 years after Dawn, I was 13. We had about 6 years together, I think.
I: That’s a lot of time to live in the same house and not talk.
D: Like I said, I was a teenage boy. I was more than happy to ignore all my sisters.
I: So, if I’m understanding this correctly, you know basically nothing about Dawn?
D: {sighs}. Yes. Do you need anything else?
I: That’s all, thank you.
