I stared in awe at the Venator we were approaching, I'd not seen one yet before in person, sure I've seen them on the Holo-News Net but never like this, I spoke with a grin hunching to see through the cockpit window's, "It's stunning Master, and this is your ship to command?" I looked over at Aayla who was grinning before nodding as she reached up and adjusted the neckline of my robe's so that it sat straighter before stepping back with a now. "Yes it is Padawan, welcome to the Liberty my Flagship." I nodded as I looked back at it and my tail swayed a bit more behind me as I did before I turned and said, "This is going to be interesting. Who are we leading again Master?" I walked back to the passenger bay and sat cross legged on the floor as I watched Aayla Secura walk towards me and sit down across from me before she said in that fascinatingly French accent of hers, "We will be leading the 327th Star Corps, an elite formation of Clone Troopers, they're commander is Bly, he and I have fought together once before on Geonosis." I nodded as I closed my eyes and began meditating to calm my mind and body causing feelings of warmth and peace to flow through me causing my body to relax as I took slow and deep breaths.
I only opened my eyes when the shuttle vibrated slightly and a THUNK rang through it as it docked with the Venator. I stood and stretched my back causing several loud cracks to echo through the shuttle before turning towards Aayla and grinning at the same excited gleam in seen in her eyes that were surely in mine. We turned and began making our way to the airlock connecting our ships together and walked through stopping momentarily for me to bend over and not cause another headache, I found out that ship doors, unless large hanger one's, were not quite large enough for me to fit through. And then continued to walk, heading towards the bridge in a comfortable silence, pausing occasionally to greet and chat with a few of the 327th clone troopers making their rounds on the ship. We stepped into one of the lift's with me having to hunch again as it started rising. "I'm going to have horrible posture if this keeps up." Aayla just laughed softly as she reached up and patted my arm gently and said, "Don't worry, I'll we about getting a taller lift installed, can't have my Padawan getting a concussion just trying to get to the bridge in a hurry now can I?" I laughed softly nodding as I patted her hand in thanks before looking towards the door as the lift slowed to a stop and then opened it's door showing the small conference/war room at the back of the bridge with a few of the bridge crew meandering around and doing the various tasks needed of them to keep the ship running.
They stopped and stared as we stepped out of the lift, probably more at me than my Master but oh well. We nodded to them and walked the rest of the way towards the bridge, my clawed feet making a soft clacking noise against the metal floor as I walked, occasionally dodging a crew member too focused on their holo-tablet to be paying attention to me though I just grinned and kept moving and taking everything in though my gaze paused on a clone in full armor standing at attention by the large view ports. "Commander Bly reporting for Duty General." He saluted and Aayla returned it with a salute of her own while I bowed slightly at the waist before straightening back up ignoring how most of the eyes of the bridge crew were on my towering form as Aayla began introductions, "I am Jedi Knight Aayla Secura and this is my Padawan Dawnstriker, we're hopeful in helping keep the Republic and all those under our command as safe as possible." I reached forward to shake his hand and he gripped it firmly and shook my hand once then did the same with Aayla as he studied us for a moment before saying.
"Well we're excited to have you and eager to get into the action." I nodded as I stepped up to the view port and crossed my hands behind my back and said softly, "I honestly thought I would never get to see space Master, but here we are, in space and it is just as beautiful as I had imagined it would be." I turned my feelings radiating out from me and into the force though that didn't stop people from feeling the awe and joy that I released trying to calm myself and behave as a proper Jedi would, though the grin on Aayla's face and the soft chuckle coming from Bly let me know that it wasn't an inappropriate reaction to have, "Yes, I still remember the first time I seen space from the bridge of a ship, it was awe inspiring." Aayla said as she stepped up next to me with Bly stepping up on her left side nodding along before he removed his helmet and said with a grin. "Yes it is beautiful, though it can get rather boring rather quickly if you admire it too much, it can loose the wonder it once had. Or even if you're stuck on the bridge of a Star Ship for too long." I nodded as I turned back to them and started to say something but closed my snout as a Bridge comm's tech came up to us and said, "General Aayla Secura and Padawan Dawnstriker you're wanted in the war room." We nodded and followed him silently before stepping around the Holo-table and the comm's tech hit the acceptance key causing the table to glow before a hologram of Yoda and Senator Palpatine appeared, "General Aayla, a pleasure to meet you and your Padawan, my you're rather unique aren't you?" Palpatine said in surprise just as I chuckled softly and bowed slightly at the waist before saying.

"Yes Senator Palpatine, it is a pleasure to meet you, and my kind are a VERY rare sight to see out in the galaxy as far as I know since I seem to be the only one walking around." I said with a hint of sadness and he nodded and said softly, "Well the Republic welcomes you, and I see you found a family with the Jedi Order. I look forward to hearing of your deeds young one." He smiled warmly and I bowed my head slightly in thanks before clearing my throat and letting Aayla take over the conversation as I looked away for a moment and closed my eyes as I pushed my emotions away into the force, "A mission, we have for you Jedi Knight Aayla. Christophsis, help it needs spread thin our forces are. Reinforce you must and defeat the CIS you will." She nodded as she looked at me for a moment after I opened my eyes and looked back at the Grand Master and she said, "It will be done Master Yoda, Senator Palpatine." They both nodded and then ended the holo-call. Bly turned and made his way to the bridge and began issuing orders to the crew in the pit's while Aayla Secura turned towards me and raised a brow as I just silently nodded having finally gotten my feelings under control and said softly, "Sorry Master, I just fear that I may be the only one left of my kind in the galaxy. I wish I seen others like me walking around to show I am not alone." She didn't need to know that I may be the only one of my kind, I wish I had thought of that when I was making the selections I was with the options the pod gave me.
She nodded and placed a hand on my arm gently her voice soft and kind as she said, "When we get the chance Padawan, we will go to the Archives to see if there may be information on your race and a possible Homeworld." I nodded in thanks patting her hand in return before turning and making my way from the war room and towards the large viewing port as the as the Venator and two others began moving away from the station and making their way to the Hyper Lane point slowly. I frowned slightly as I looked at my feet and said, "Is it normal to feel vibrations? As imperceptible as they may be?" And Bly nodded and said with a chuckle, "Yes Sir. You'll get used to it eventually." I nodded and went back to watching the ship glide through space, stopping when it was where it needed to go and waiting for the others to get into formation with it. It took the other two ships a few minutes to finally get into position but once they did Bly gave a nonverbal signal and we entered hyperspace, and it was beautiful, if a little nauseating at the same time.
