The red crab was small in size, yet had a menacing air around it.
“Well, yeah”, a screen appeared before me, to which I replied.
“Not really, no”, said Ena. “We were just figuring out what [Summoned by Crab] did”
“Hey! It only says ‘summoned by crab’, not ‘summon crab’”, I protested.
As the crab said that, the dim light that was previously surrounding it started gathering again, enveloping the crab.
“Wait! Wait a second, would you?”, exclaimed Ena. “Can’t you do something? Like, what’s the point of summoning you if you do nothing?”
“Is that a yes?”, I said while lifting an eyebrow. “You can do something, can’t you?”
“Then, what is it that’s coming? The thing set to happen in what’s basically hours”, I said with my arms crossed.
“Everywhere… Thanks, you can go now”, I responded.
The crab firmly looked at me, then disappeared from within the dim light. Ena looked at me with a worried face, then at the floor.
“Eh, don’t worry”, I said. “I’ve hunted one of those crocodiles that were in the river nearby, there’s probably nothing stronger than one of those”.
“Why did you have to say that?!”, Ena said loudly. “Now those things are probably going to be tens of times stronger than those monstrous crocodiles!”.
“No way, just no. There can’t be anything stronger than those things, I refuse to even think about it”, I denied.
“In any case, we have to prepare, like the crab said”, said Ena. “We have to make walls or something to keep those beasts back”.
“Sure thing, are there any strong rocks around here?”

Quartzite walls emerged in various directions, around a central base, which was just a small wooden structure containing food and water. The walls had head-sized holes in them, so that Ena could shoot through them with a bow, as she was apparently an [Archer]. The walls themselves were separated, leaving openings that would let creatures inside at a slow rate.
I also crafted a new spear, knife and axe, all out of quartzite.
And with this came two levels in [Mason]!
Unfortunately, this took all day to make, even with [System Crafting]. Tomorrow would be the day that no one signed up for, and we weren’t sure we were actually prepared properly.
The sky was getting dark, the sea receding slightly. Tomorrow will be the big day.
