‘So many things, so many creatures, so many things to create’, Matt joyfully thought, amazed by all that he had gained, looking through his list of gains, succeeding in his attempt to distract himself from even thinking of all the carnage that Jaret and the rest of his little party had ensued upon his home.
“Hmm what should I do first...” Matt thought/said, coming back to reality, quietly scanning through his now chaos-ravaged home in the background, thinking of all the many things that would need to be done before he could even think himself safe again.
“Master, may I make suggest that before doing anything else, you prioritise repopulating and fixing up the dungeon?” Bob suddenly said, surprising and interrupting Matt out from his dazzled state.
“Way ahead of you Bob,” Matt happily said having already intended on doing just that, giving the large blue screen another quick curtsy glance, wanting to ensure he hadn’t missed anything before moving on.
‘Though, I haven't, have I’, Matt happily thought, spotting nothing he hadn’t already seen before, even as he began to concentrate. Picking out and absorbing all the tiny amounts of ruble and footprints that he could find within his core room, just to prove his point to Bob.
“Well…., good”, Bob said, sounding surprised by Matt's quick reactiveness. ,“, Guess I’ll leave it to you then, Master”
‘Oh, I’ve got so many ideas’ Matt excitedly thought, his non-existent head filling to the brim with ideas of the many, many things that he could do to make his home more safe and secure now that he’d seen what the adventuress could do for himself.
‘Ok, let’s get to work…’, Matt thought quietly reactivating his mind's eye, changing the focus of his view to the entrance room finding it in such a damaged state that horrified him.
With. Dead littering off the floor. Rubble emanating out from everywhere. Large thudding 3-metre holes from where the Giantess Tam had initially landed. And, cracks as far as the eye could. This room was a mess. And not in a good way.
“Ok, first thing’s first let’s get rid of that massive hole.” Matt mentally muttered. Instantly absorbing the whole gigantic stone floor, and immediately drawing upon the now tremendous energy amount that he now had at his disposal to replace it with a new one.
“And now the rest of it,” he muttered. Matt, absorbing everything that remained. All the broken bits and bobs around the room. All the dirt road cracks. All the rotten flesh of his broken creations. All of it. Fixing up everything that was broken till nothing remained but a very barren giant of a cave cavern.
‘Hahh, Finally’ Matt happily sighed, complying over, looking throughout the room, finding not a piece of cracking dirt, rock or rotting flesh in sight. Mentally sighing as he drew upon his energy, creating 4 new spiders to take the place of the fallen. Intent on eventually replacing them with something else.
‘Ugh onto the next one I guess.’, He thought, moving his view, preparing to do it all over again in the next room over and if anything from what he had seen so far indicated anything he had a long night ahead of him.
‘Ugh, got a long road ahead, better get on with it then I guess, wait what the...’, Matt thought changing his view, slightly surprised by the sight that awaited him as he did so,
Looking down, finding the second room the same as the first, with one key difference, that of a small tiny little spider crawling across the floor of the room, rubble hanging on top, over and above it. Living, despite it all.
‘Agh what the heck, how did you survive?’ Matt thought, stirring at the tiny spider that continued to crawl around the room, not a hint of scaring, concern, or fear in sight.
“Bob, Bob,” Matt said. “Bob, are you seeing this?” Matt stared, staring in full surprise mode as the spider continued to move around the room.
“Yes master, I see it”
“How did it survive you think?”
“I don’t know master?” Bob said Matt was slightly disappointed at his answer, him having long since grown used to Bob having all of the answers. ‘But he doesn't know everything, this situation proves that at least.’.
“HHH, Ok, guess I better get back to work”, Matt thought/said sighing, relaying his both words and thoughts back to Bob with the help of the mental link.
‘I’ll leave this room for now’ Matt thought, preparing to shift his viewpoint from one room to another deciding to leave this room for now not wanting to disturb the spider in any way, if at all possible. But not before activating his newly gained Lore ability on the spider in the hope of gaining some answers.
‘Well, you're a survivor that’s for sure.’, Matt thought, quietly, giving the small spider one last glance as he turned his mind's eye from one room to another.
