Unauthorized Reproduction (NAC)

Recently, a fellow author discovered that their story was being stolen and reposted on other platforms without permission.

Out of sheer paranoia, I decided to do a little digging myself — and, unfortunately, I found that my work had also been taken.

To my dismay, I discovered that Mutia & Gee, a story I’ve poured my heart into with the eventual goal of publishing, has been fully reproduced on other websites without my consent.

I understand that there's always a risk when sharing content online, but if your intent is to “give stories exposure,” you don’t just copy and paste someone’s work — or translate it, change a few names, and call it something new.

And you especially don’t do this without crediting the author or linking back to the official source here on RoyalRoad.

The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

I’ve already contacted the web hosts of the two sites where I found my story — one based in Poland, the other in China — and submitted takedown requests. That said, considering the nature of those sites, which appear to rely on automated scraping and reposting, I’m not overly optimistic about the outcome.

If you’re reading Mutia & Gee anywhere other than RoyalRoad, please know that it’s an unauthorized reproduction. It was posted without my knowledge or permission and does not reflect the official version of the story. If you come across it elsewhere, I kindly ask that you do not engage with it, and if possible, help report it.

This experience has honestly left a bad taste in my mouth, and I’m now questioning whether I want to continue posting this story in a web novel format.

Thank you to those who have supported me and respected the work that goes into original fiction. It means more than you know.
