The Milotic's outburst caused the hoard to go into a frenzy and rush towards us but Gaia and Vuls bined field of death made that very hard. The Milotic's level fluctuated between sixty ay three in a strange manner but I could uand why. It was the madness preventing it from making rational choices and using it's power fully. "Ru us pce this oo rest." I said calmly and Rune loudly agreed. "Swords dance." I anded and Ruarted his little jig as he glowed. "MIIIIIII!" the Milotic screamed and charged at him wildly but Rune finished first and moved out of the way. -

  "Thunder punch , double team to dodge." I spoke firmly and runes cws glowed yellow as he started wailing on the Milotic that screamed and filed around with water type attacks getting flung without any target. It was holy pathetic as the creature was clearly powerful but simply couldn't focus it's mind to use that power in any meaningful mahat said I myself o dodge the attacks since random attacks would sometimes y way. More and more wounds were piling on the Milotic's body and it was getting sluggish from using up it's energy haphazardly.-

  "Rune finish it off , there's o make it suffer more than this." I anded and Rune Glowed as he charged up a thunder way beyond what was reended for a pokemon battle and in a blinding fsh and deafening "BOOM!" released the atta the Milotic. Su attack drained him of almost his entire remaining energy pool but did it's job as the Milotic was down and on it's st breaths. I crouched in front of the creatures face "I will take care of it from here on out , rest now." I said gently.-

  For the briefest moments the madness seemed to clear away and all I could see in the Milotic's eyes was gratefulness as the life faded from them and it's body rexed. The hoard rippled as every pokemohe presence of the leader fade and like they had broken from mind trol they all started to flee in panic. I couldn't be happy about this result however as there was simply no reason for it. With a sigh I dove into the pond arieved the egg that the Milotic had been guarding.-

  Cheg it with the system I couldn't help but have an odd expression as the result I got back fused me. Acc to the system the unborn Feebas had a variation but it wasn't any of the ohat existed naturally and thus cked a he innate ability was much the same in this regards which meant whatever the variation was it clearly messed with the ability as well. 'I o talk to Birch about this after the little oches.' I thought seriously.-

  I didn't go to dismahe Milotic despite it's parts being of high value but rather had Gaia dig a deep hole that I left buried it in as Gaia turhe top yer of soil to hard stohe egg I got was a strange mix of emerald green , ruby red and steel grey with various chaotic looking patterns all over it. The egg was also a bit rger than a normal one would be but not in the same way a royal variants would be. All in all I had no fug clue what I was even looking at and could only pce it in the incubator pocket of my satchel.-

  Acc to the system the egg should take about a month the hatch so I o get a water type carrier for it before that happened. Obviously water type pokemon like Magikarp and Feebas could still live out of water just fi they are far more fortable in it than out of it. In those two cases for even more reason sihey cked the ability to properly move on nd. The fight might not have been overly long at only about fifteen mio finish but my team was dead tired afterwards.-

  For Rune he was bone dry of energy and had a few bruises from where the Milotiaged to hit him a few times. Vul and Gaia were also in rough shape as even with their set up nd of death the sheer numbers of the hoard meant they still got overwhelmed by those that made it through. Vul had the worst injuries but was still standing firmly on it's feet. Pulling out my pokenav I dial Birch up. "Are you about to go into the hoard Alex? Best advice i give you is take your time and..." He started saying immediately but I cut him off. -

  "The hoards taken care of and the leaders dead , I have it's egg which is also some sort of variant but I am unsure what kind." I said bluntly as Birch goes silent for a whole minute in shock. "Hang on a moment." Birch eventually said before the li silent food five minutes. "Okay I have you on speaker and an open el to Watson and the rangers rep. Start from the beginning and expin what you did and why you did it." Birch said clearly standing away from the pokenav on his end.-

  "Well when I first got the mission I stocked up on ingredients of a narcotiature i that I then used alchemy to turn into a colorless sleep potion that I made specifically to knock out pokemon that i. I then aerosolized it which gave me four uses total. After that I made my way to Trode town with my team and you all should already know what happehere so I'll skip that part. Anyway I got the re information and stealthily approached the hoard until I was in a straight line upwind from the leader. "

  "From there I used the aerosolized sleep agent to knock out a great deal of the hoard downwind from me. I still o dispatch a few that resisted the agent as I snuck through the hoard using up my supply of agent in the process. Still they fulfilled their purpose as I was at the pond that the leader was in. I had Gaia , my Pupitar and Vul , my Entei create an area of high difficulty to pass behind me while Rune , my Charmeleon got the leaders attention."

  "I will state officially that there was something very wrong with that Milotic as it was insane and seemed in agony before any attacks were sent at it and it fought in a reckless and illogical manner despite it's clear power. In the end it perished and the hoard dispersed while I retrieved a variant egg from the pond that I believe beloo the leader. I buried the leaders body and called yht after that Birch." I narrated the entire series of events calmly and accurately while it was silen Birches end.
