First and foremost, let me preface by saying that no, the name of this chapter doesn't mean that I'll be putting this novel on indefinite hiatus. I haven't even begun getting into the nitty and gritty of the story yet.

  However, I do have to apologize for the fact that it's been over two weeks since I posted the previous chapter.

  I cannot forgive myself for how long I've left the novel in this state, especially with the end of Theresa's storyline being left at a cliffhanger.

  Unfortunately, it'll be a while before I get around to posting the next chapter (by a while, it's either tomorrow, in a couple days, or perhaps more).

  I'll also post a longer explanation on why I haven't been able to write for the past couple weeks once that chapter is up, but to cut things short...

  I've experienced some unexpected and very insane mental burnout.

  Once again, I apologize for keeping you guys in the dark all this time.
