“Focus on the flow. Keep fighting!”

Paul initially inteo switon, but thanks to Ursaring’s impressive performance, he decided to let it tihe battle.

  “Ursa!”

Ursaring grihe fmes around its body gradually dissipating while the fire on its fists burned fiercely.

Oher side, Gardenia having regained her posure, decided ohird Pokémon.

“Go, Roserade! I’m ting on you!”

  “Rose~”

A fsh of white light revealed Roserade, a Pokémon holding two vibrant flowers—one red and one blue—like a masked dy attending a ball. With its elegant demeanor and high-css poise, it coyly covered its lips, exuding both charm and danger.

Among Gardenia’s Pokémon, Roserade was versatile and formidable, making it the perfect choice to ter Ursaring.

  “Roserade, use Sor Beam!”

Roserade raised its arms, and the red and blue fllowed with white light as they rapidly absorbed sunlight, releasing a searioward Ursaring.

  “Break it!"

Instead of retreating, Paul anded Ursaring to charge straight into the Sor Beam, its fming fists swinging with full foreet the attack.

  Boom!

The powerful collisio shockwaves through the field, and to everyone’s astonishment, Ursaring deflected the Sor Beam off course.

  “How is that possible?!”

Gardenia’s eyes widened in disbelief. But as Ursaring charged toward Roserade, she quickly issued a and:“Use the trees to evade!”

  “Rose~”

Two green viended from Roserade’s flowers, tg onto nearby trees. With a swift retra, Roserade gracefully swung away, dodging Ursaring’s Fire Punch.

  “Aura Sphere.”

Just as it had done against Turtwig earlier, Ursaring followed up by ung a swiftly charged Aura Sphere after its missed attack.

“Not so fast—Power Whip, break it!”

Using its flower vines for leverage, Roserade shed out with glowing green whips, easily shattering the Aura Sphere midair.

  “Grass Knot.”

As Roserade retracted its vines, Gardenia and her Pokémon noticed Ursaring charging again. This time, Roserade’s eyes glimmered with a mysterious light as the grouh Ursaring cracked open. Grass sprouted rapidly, twisting into knots to trip up the oning bear.

Grass Knot’s power increases with the target’s weight, and Ursaring’s rge size made it particurly vulnerable. If tripped, the damage would be signifit.

  “Stop. Hyper Beam!”

Paul, having anticipated Grass Knot, issued his and without hesitation.

Ursaring mid-charge abruptly slowed down and stopped just short of the grass trap. It then opes mouth and unleashed a powerful Hyper Beam.

  “Rose~!”

Roserade, focused on maintaining Grass Knot, was caught off guard a flying by the Hyper Beam.

Though Roserade mao stand back up, Ursaring still rec from the beam’s recoil, was already moving again.

  “Roserade, use Sleep Powder!”

Seizing the opportunity, Roserade released a cloud of green powder from its flowers, enveloping the approag Ursaring.

Although the fmes from Ursaring’s Fire Punch burned away most of the powder, some still settled on its body.

Drowsiness sooook Ursaring, and it stopped in its tracks, falling into a deep slumber.

  Sleep!

  Guts activated! Attack power increased!

However, while its ability activated, it was useless as Ursaring remained asleep.

“Roserade, use Worry Seed and Leech Seed.”

Relieved, Gardenia smiled as she gave her ands.

  “Rose~”

Two seeds shot out from Roserade’s flowers, nding on Ursaring. One sprouted thorny vihat drais energy, while the other broke apart, releasing a special force that altered Ursaring’s ability.

  Guts repced with Insomnia!

Guts was nullified, and Ursaring’s eyes snapped open.

Was this a mistake by Gardenia and Roserade? Not at all.

As soon as Ursaring awakened, it found itself standing in a pool of poisonous sludge. Purple gas seeped into its body, inflig severe pain.

  Badly Poisoned!

To make matters worse, Roserade followed up with a Toxic attack, intensifying the poison and weakening Ursaring further.

  Toxic Spikes Trap!

Attack, Special Attack, and Speed reduced.

With Guts repced by Insomnia, Ursaring had no way to ter its deteriorating dition.

Though plex to describe, the sequenoves unfolded seamlessly.

  “Ursa?”

Ursaring appeared bewildered. What just happened in such a short time? Why did it suddenly feel so powerless?

Gardenia smirked. As the battle tinued, she would only grow stronger while Paul’s Ursaring weakened. Victory seemed iable.

But in the moment, a red light enveloped Ursaring, recalling it into its Poké Ball.

Even Paul couldn’t see a way to win under such circumstances unless Gardenia made a grave error or Ursaring somehow learned a new move. Without either, defeat was certain.

However, Paul wasn’t oo rely on luck. He simply threw another Poké Ball.

  “Turtwig, get ready for battle.”

  “Twig~”

Turtwig stepped forward with a determined expression, staring down Roserade.

“What a serious look. I really like your Turtwig!”

Seeing anrass-type Pokémon, Gardenia’s mood lightened, momentarily fetting they were in a battle.

  “Turtwig, Sor Beam!”

Paul wasn’t in the mood for idle chatter.

  “Twig~”

Despite fag the beautiful Roserade, Turtwig didn’t hold back. It absorbed sunlight, charged energy, and fired Sor Beam in one fluid motion.

“Roserade, ter with Sor Beam as well!”

Roserade raised its flathering sunlight before firing its own beam.

The two Sor Beams cshed midair, but Turtwig’s was quickly overpowered, f it to retreat.

  “Dodge and use Razor Leaf!”

Realizing the disadvaurtwig leaped aside and unched a barrage of sharp leaves at Roserade.

  “Evade and use Weather Ball!”

Roserade deftly dodged the leaves and jured a glowing orb in its hands. Uhe bright sunlight, the orb transformed into a bzing fireball, which it hurled at Turtwig.

But Turtwig, using its agility, hopped across the terrain and trees, dodging the attack while closing the distance.

  “Tackle!”

Seizing the moment, Turtwig lunged forward and rammed into Roserade, sending it staggering backward.

  “Power Whip!”

Rec quickly, Roserade shed out with its glowing green vines from multiple angles.
