Hello Readers!

  This was my first posted story, and I went in without much of a plan. I regret that a little, since I made a lot of mistakes, and while it was lots of fun, it felt a bit overwhealming since I didn't really know what I was doing. I ended up dropping it because I just couldn't find the time to write. I think that I wanted to write big, long, descriptive chapters like my favourite fictions, but should have ramped up to that slowly by writing shorter chapters that were more in line with my ability. I've thought about bringing this story back, but kept getting in my own head because I wasn't really sure what I was doing.

  I still don't, but the Royal Road Writathon looks fun, so I'm going to use it as an excuse to bring this story back from hiatus, as if I needed one.

  There's going to be a few minor retcons, particularly in how abilities and skills work, but hopefully nothing too major! I'm not going to bother rewriting the chapters already posted, since I think they're fine as they are. I'm going to go in a slightly more gamelit direction. I hope it won't be too jarring, but I think it'll make it a whole lot easier to both read and write.

  Updates will come out when they come out. I don't think this story is exactly a pillar of anybody's regular routine, so I doubt anybody will be too upset if I don't keep to a regular schedule. It started as a fun way for me to start writing, and I think that's all it needs to be.
