Luckily, through Nate going into deep thought upon what to do and how to act, Matilda did not have to worry about him for a little while. Of course, she would check on him but that was as far as she had to go!
But there was another dilemma elsewhere and so she asked An and Katherine to help a Golden Heir to come to Golden Haven, as not only did they have no idea upon where to go but they were being hounded by the royals of that haven who wanted him to stay and didn’t understand why he was leaving.
Teleporting horses with a carriage that had gold on it, with An and Katherine, Matilda only had to make sure to keep giving them food and water…
They hadn’t been pleased in been given a job to do, well it wasn’t like they would say no, but…
Having been busy being in their own world, Matilda was also a bit worried about sending them off! But, ultimately, given them a job felt like a good thing to do. They needed to remember that there was a whole world out here!
That’s right! They can’t be coped up in An’s room all the time, that’s just silly!
An was not in this ‘Golden Emperor’ thing at all and had stated that he had not wanted to go. Katherine was different though and so through Katherine, An changed his mind…Which only told Matilda of An’s weakness!
To own An, she had to own Katherine…And Katherine was her twin sister so…No problem!
Having to keep tabs on so many people, Matilda got into a habit on who she would check first to st. It was so often that by the time a month had gone by, since she had released the letters to all of them, she no longer needed to check the list of them all…
Two Golden Heirs, that weren’t in Golden Haven already, had no intention of coming, and so Matilda no longer watched them for long…Just a couple of seconds…
She didn’t have to worry about the Blue Haven Emperor, but two other Emperor’s seemed to be changing their minds…And if they didn’t leave within the next couple of days, Matilda was not sure on what to do!
Having to already have to ‘sell’ it to them by gifts, she really thought it would have been enough to get them all here!
I don’t want to give them anymore! This is important, this is almost like something they have to do! Why the hell should I fork out spiritual essence to create something when they should just do as they are told!?
…Already it was time for them to leave to make it to Golden Haven in time but…
Because they had, at least once or twice, given all intention to come to Golden Haven, Matilda had hoped and waited…But perhaps she had waited too long!
Strangely enough, one of the emperor’s dawdling with time was indeed the Green Haven Emperor…
Matilda had been slightly surprised that he had not yet left, thinking that even if all else failed, he may see Matthew here and perhaps the journey would be worth taking…
But no, the Green Haven Emperor had not been happy for most of the month gone and put up his pompous head, stating that if they wanted him there so much, more should be given in exchange…
Well, that wasn’t going to happen! Even though…Even though he’d probably want to come for white pills, he’d probably know for certain then that I was alive…So…What am I to do? I can’t give him more than any other Emperor!
Matilda was pretty certain that the Green Haven Emperor was going to be the second Emperor that was going to be teleported to Golden Haven. It really didn’t look like he was going to make it on time!
The other emperor was the Pink Emperor. It was for different reasons and probably better reasons that didn’t make Matilda angry just by looking at him!
The Pink Haven Emperor…Sorry, it’s Dusk Haven now…
Actually, I like the word dusk…And dawn…Twilight…
…
The Dusk Haven Emperor was simir to the Golden Heir, he didn’t know his way and didn’t know what the hell was going on.
The Haven just didn’t really have much in the way of knowledge of the Golden Haven. They had a few books about it, but they had thought of it as a legend, or a story. It wasn’t their generation’s fault…It was the Pink Haven Emperor of back when the st Golden Emperor was still around. He had wanted to get rid of anything to do with Golden Haven, including that of the real haven itself!
Pink Haven had been the first to want to get rid of Golden Haven. The ‘story’ of what Dusk Haven now knows of Golden Haven is that their Haven was betrayed by Emperor Marcus, who took the throne in an ‘unfair’ manner and did not take in another wife. Emperor Marcus’s father had betrothed the Pink Haven’s ‘Princess’ of the time, among a few others, to him when he had been small and had already the crowned prince, but the proceedings fell through and so the betrayal led to destruction. It had been a weird predicament, as they had never done that before. The Golden Heirs did not marry until it was certain that they weren’t or were able to become the Golden Emperor. It was indeed a bit of a change that not only was there an heir at such a young age, but that to of his wife’s already being chosen! The ‘story’ known in Pink Haven wasn’t really a happy one, and so it wasn’t really spread out much, but some knew of it, they just didn’t know how true it really was.
To point it out frankly, it really did happen…So, to a degree, it was a betrayal of some sort and not just this haven, to every haven! And so, as you can see, all other haven’s, besides Golden Haven, had a common connection, a common interest…They could all find themselves on equal grounds against Golden Haven.
…And so, the ones who had started the rebellion upon Golden Haven, and obtaining others to their pn, was none other than Pink Haven…
Another reason why Emperor Marcus wanted to leave Golden Haven back in his day was because of this betrayal towards the Pink Haven. Of course, it wasn’t his only reason but, obviously, it hadn’t worked. The Pink Haven had taken offense with every turn!
Upon five years that Emperor Marcus had not borne a male heir for the throne, Pink Haven and Pink Haven’s Golden heir were coming to a point of no return with their pns. If they went much further, the future was going to change very much and well…
It wasn’t like everything happened all of a sudden, with their pns, they had first talked about it. Then, as their feelings of anger grew, they then just wrote the ideas down, making them more ‘realistic’…But those pns just got more and more accomplished by the time the Princess was about five years old…
By the time everything had been done, the Pink Haven Emperor had then felt he had all the right he needed to get rid of any material there was about the Golden Haven and its emperor’s!
So…That was why this generation did not even know that there was a Golden Haven that truly existed, along with that the Golden Bridge!
It seemed that Emperor Marcus’s father did not think about his actions. Changing a tradition didn’t mean nothing else changed and that was what happened…He had made a Crowned Prince early, therefore had betrothed the wife’s early, thinking nothing of it…Never did he think that his son would only take on one wife…Never did he think that he should have waited in the first pce.
Matilda had been in Meditation a little longer when she found that out. Having to find out why it was that she had so much work cut out for herself, so she was now informed upon why and sighed.
Was it good that they didn’t seem to harbor that betrayal and anger anymore? The problem was, they had sorta gone backwards with a few things, just not as badly as Purple Haven had progressed a couple of decades ago…It was more geography and history knowledge that they just didn’t have.
Nonetheless, another lot of horses and a carriage had to be readied for this emperor of Dusk Haven!
This time Matilda sent Austin and his older sister Madeline to tend to them.
Matilda thought it was a good idea to get Madeline out of her room as she had sobbed away her youthful crush upon An…Who seemed to disappear often and with another being earlier, but now he wasn’t even here with them anymore as he was bringing someone to Golden Haven with Katherine…
Austin was another matter…Which made Matilda curious. She wanted to know what he was like in serving someone.
A leader needed to learn many things, they needed to be able to listen to others, they needed to keep calm and adapt, they needed to have authority and keep it…There was just so many things and well, Matilda could see a few in all of the Golden Heirs and True Golden Heirs…Even in Nate.
Austin seemed to listen pretty well and seemed to be powerful enough to survive on his own but sending him off like that was to see what he would be like with an important leader of another haven.
Considering that she knew all the horses in the race, she had her bet pced upon Austin.
Not only that, but Austin and Madeline were the easiest ones to send to do this kind of errand! There was absolutely no point in asking Matthew, as he wouldn’t obviously leave her side. Christian…Well, who would want to tell him to do something, he would most likely chuck a tanty and walk away in a huff! Lavender might go but…That would make Christian mad!
Ah…She was running out of helpers!
Hopefully no more will need chauffeurs!
The good thing that helped a lot was that of being able to give each of the travelers a golden ‘compass’ that would always point in the direction of Golden Haven. It had been an afterthought as time went on and seeing that at least two had absolutely no idea upon where to go to get to Golden Haven, but nonetheless even those who knew what direction to head in had a compass now.
It wasn’t quite the normal compass that you could buy on earth. It wasn’t magnetic. The idea did come from the earth compass but because pcing a magnetic pole here in Golden Haven might change things on this pnet, Matilda decided against doing it. Instead, Matilda used her ultimate powers to connect a golden thread to each compass that was connected to the middle of the Haven. This item does indeed become a ‘Divine Artifact’ in the future, especially since it is directly reted to obtaining the new Golden Emperor and the Golden bridge again.
Granted, the compass that went to the Green Haven Emperor had to be given to him through Felix, instead of ‘popping out nowhere’ and potentially making him go into a rage.
Felix had to make up some sort of story to state that it had always been in the haven and that he had gotten it for his second birthday. Before Felix gave the compass to his father, his father had already disliked him, but the distrust and scorn just amplified.
Matilda was still having troubles seeing such a change in the Green Haven Emperor, from when she had first met him.
He used to be a lot easier to get along with but now that he had so much to lose, he was a real arsehole!
He had been able to cultivate to level ten, thanks to Sahara’s pills and fix to his dantian. He was getting old now and he knew that he’d have to probably step down soon or forced to step down and so that wasn’t helping him…Not only that, but he had grown an ego because he was powerful. He also didn’t have as much patience as he used to have…He was well on his way to becoming a tyrant!
Matilda wondered if she should have just left him alone back in the day…If she hadn’t fixed him and given him white pills, would he had grown to become this way?
Although, when she thought about it, Matilda remembered the crap that she made him go through, even though it wasn’t all her fault, and really wasn’t sure if the outcome of her death would have been prevented if she had not fixed him and such.
Not only that but she did know that people did change a bit upon getting older…So, perhaps, there might not be too much of a difference…Not that it matters, as you can’t go back in time and change things anyway…
