Chapter 86: The Abyss Stirs & The Return of Darkness
The Isekai world had never been quite as peaceful as Issei wished for. Zeref's retreat was only the beginning of something far more sinister. The Abyss, a void that had been sealed away for centuries, began to stir once again. Its power called out to the darkest corners of the world.
Issei stood on the edge of a cliff, gazing at the horizon. A sense of foreboding gnawed at him, but his expression remained steadfast. "What the hell’s going on?" he muttered. "Every time I think I’m done fighting, it just gets worse."
Zoro, standing beside him with his swords crossed, glanced at him. “This is Isekai life, kid. You gotta expect more bullshit at every turn.”
Stolen from Royal Road, this story should be reported if encountered on Amazon.
Gray, sitting on a nearby rock, ran a hand through his silver hair. “We’ve got each other, so let’s just focus on that. Besides, there’s still plenty of oppai around to keep our spirits up.”
“That’s true,” Issei grinned, winking at Rias, who was resting near him. “And don’t forget, guys, the power of rizz is unstoppable.”
Rias chuckled and leaned in, her red hair gleaming in the sunlight. “You certainly seem to think so.”
Just as the group was about to discuss their next move, the ground trembled. A shadowy figure appeared before them, flickering in and out of existence.
“You’ve done well, Issei ,” the figure spoke in a voice that sounded like echoing whispers. “But the Abyss is not so easily sealed.”
Issei narrowed his eyes. "What the hell is this?!"
The figure stepped forward. "I am the one who commands the Abyss. And soon, this world will be mine to reshape."
Before anyone could respond, the figure vanished into thin air, leaving only a trail of black mist behind.
