You shall not want.
Wanting was her first sin. Back when stone and glass reached for the sky, when the starless night shone bright, she convinced herself the world was against her. Frustration and melancholy, that she did not know how to give to anyone other than herself, made her long for another place, a distance that could transcend time.
You shall not hope.
Once she found herself lost, she started to regret. She cursed her foolishness, she cursed her inability to value what she had and cursed the impossibility to return things to how they were.

Then she started to hope. A new world unfolded before her and she was determined to find her way, if not to home, to some sort of happiness. She would be satisfied to stay in this new pair of arms, from which she could hope for the future and that everything would be alright.
However, her hope was quickly strangled and her will chained. No matter how hard she fought or her heart broke, she couldn't win against a prison with no bars.
Time passed and when freedom came she neither cried or rejoiced. There was not enough of her left to do so.
She wasn’t fool enough to dream.
