Alliance of Brilliance

CHAPTER 16 – Alliance of Brilliance

The room crackled with urgency; each participant acutely aware of the stakes as they gathered. Outside, Charlie’s truck stood like a sentinel, a quiet testament to the hasty escape that lay ahead. Inside, Peter arranged his equipment with meticulous precision. Patrick, unfazed by the tension, played quietly on the floor with his favorite stuffed teddy bear, blissfully unaware of the looming dangers.

Peter straightened, casting a determined gaze over the assembled group.

"Alright, everyone. It’s time for introductions. This moment is critical; we all need to understand our roles." He gestured to the young duo.

"First off, Chris and Ruby Parsons—my brilliant nephew and niece, both living mathematicians, no less. They'll be the strategic heartbeat of our plans, as well as the co-leaders in this revolution."

Murmurs of recognition washed over the group, and Major Amma Enki stepped forward with a fierce gleam in her eyes.

"Former Major Amma Enki, at your service," she declared, her voice a mix of pride and defiance.

Henry, Francine, and Mangino exchanged wide-eyed looks, disbelief hanging in the air.

  "Wait a minute…," Henry exclaimed.

"You're the Major Amma Enki who escaped from the Pentagon? You're all over social media!"

Francine added, her voice tinged with wariness, "It’s true. Public opinion is totally split. #FreeAmmaEnki and #HangAmmaEnki are trending everywhere.”

"Well, at least we know the internet's still divided," Ruby quipped, her signature sarcasm bubbling to the surface.

A young Korean-American, with long straight black hair, glasses, and tannish-yellow skin approaches the group. She carried a confidence with a mix of humility and looked no older than twenty-one-years old.

“Ah, right on time,” Peter said in response to the young woman’s arrival.

“This woman right here is our lead scientist; Dr. Jennifer Kwan.”

Team members Major Amma, Henry, Francine, and Mangino are all in disbelief when they hear of Dr. Kwan being the ‘lead scientist’, considering that she looked so young.

Henry asked perplexed. “Wait, did you just say that she is the lead scientist?”

  Mangino interjected.

“She can’t be older than twenty-five.”

  Dr. Kwan giggled, while blushing.

  “Actually, I’m twenty,” she replied.

Major Amma is impressed, while also being confused. Francine is speechless.

Dr. Kwan proceeded with her introduction.

“I received my PhD at sixteen. I wrote my first peer-review paper debunking M-Theory at eighteen. I met Peter a year ago at a science and mathematics convention. He saw something in me and offered me a job leading his science team, promising to allow me to incorporate living mathematics in my research to help me fine tune my theories.”

The team members stood stunned by her accomplishments at such an early age.

It was like having another Chris or Ruby on the team.

“Yeah, Doc Jenny is quite the genius.” Ruby said.

“We were kicking some ideas around on applying living mathematics to every scientific theory publicized in the last fifty years just for fun.”

  Once again, Dr. Jenny blushed.

“Ruby is quite the dot connector,” she said, acknowledging Ruby’s superior intelligence.

Turning to a young woman who exuded quiet intellect, Peter prompted, “Lieutenant Mangino, please introduce yourself.”

Mangino straightened, a sense of duty evident in her posture. "Mika Mangino, former lieutenant of the D.C. Metro Police," she stated with a firm resolve.

Ruby interjected, crossing her arms skeptically and asked, "How do we know we can trust you, ‘former lieutenant of the D.C. Metro Police’?"

Before a retort could form on Mangino’s lips, Chris spoke up, a slight smirk playing on his face.

"Well, she did save Dad’s life. That counts for something, right?"

"I understand your concerns," Mangino said, her voice calm and empathetic.

"Trust isn't given; it’s earned. But rest assured, I bring valuable skills to the table. I’m an expert in tactical combat and intelligence analysis, ready to predict enemy movements and plan efficient countermeasures."

Chris raised an eyebrow, mildly impressed but still holding onto skepticism.

"Next, we have a small external team assisting us," Peter continued.

Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Paul, Linda, and Candy Zimmerman. Speaking of which..."

  He activated the comms device.

  "Chris, check in with them."

Chris responded quickly, activating the device.

“Candy, are you there? It’s Chris.”

Candy’s voice crackled through, bright and cheerful amid the tension.

"Hi, Chris! The command center you’re at sounds awesome! Are your mom and dad on the team now?"

  Francine’s irritation flared.

“I am not on any team! And I don’t want Chris and Ruby on any team of Peter’s, either!”

Ruby shot back rebelliously, “Really, Mom? After throwing a punch at Uncle P? Not cool!”

Chris silently agreed with Ruby, the tension between mother and children palpable.

"Alright, that’s enough," Peter commanded, his tone brokering no argument.

"The punch is water under the bridge. We won’t bring it up again. From this point forward, it’s all about moving ahead."

Chris folded his arms, trying to project a sense of authority despite his youth.

“Understood, Uncle Peter," he nodded sincerely.

"Yeah, I'm sorry too, Uncle P," Ruby added, a hint of regret coloring her tone.

Francine, overwhelmed by her children’s loyalty, stormed out of the meeting, her expression a mix of disbelief and frustration. The atmosphere crackled with tension, only to be interrupted by Candy cutting in on the comm.

“Maybe she just needs time to process everything. I mean, she did almost lose her life,” Candy suggested thoughtfully.

  "Agreed," Mangino chimed in.

“Sometimes it’s too much to handle all at once… like watching someone you care about turn violent."

Peter begins wrapping up introductions with Charlie.

“And last but not least, the wild card of our operation—Charlie Parsons, my adopted son—who has a knack for turning chaos into strategy."

Charlie straightened up and began to speak for himself.

“Well, I’m no genius like my dad or little cousins, but I do have extensive military and combat training. Basically, I’ll bring the muscle to compliment the brains of this team.”

Peter continued by steering the group back on track.

"Now that we have gotten introductions out of the way,” Peter turned to Major Amma.

“Major Enki, would you please elaborate on the Old World Order's plan?"

With conviction, Major Amma stepped forward.

"Operation Second Coming. The most critical aspect is a mandatory draft for all men aged 18 to 44 to serve in the Middle East for the Old World Order's expansionist goals."

Mangino’s brow furrowed as she asked, "Are you referring to the Oded Yinon Plan?"

Peter and Major Amma exchanged impressed looks.

  "Precisely," Major Amma confirmed.

Chris inquired, suspicion lacing his voice. "How do you know about that?”

"I've done my homework," Mangino replied defiantly.

"Plus, anyone paying attention to world news can't help but connect the dots."

Major Amma continued, “An additional key element involves the destruction of Al-Aqsa Mosque, rebuilding a third temple, and installing a one-world ruling king as the messiah son of David.”

"Wait," Henry interjected, his face paling.

"Does this plan tie into Christian and Islamic prophecies?"

"Exactly," Chris affirmed, a serious tone enveloping him.

"People will be led to believe this puppet is the prophesied messiah."

"Everyone who believes in the Bible will fall for it," Candy chimed in over the comm, her tone ominous.

"Should we tell Aunt Francine about this?" Charlie asked tentatively, glancing at his Uncle Henry.

  "Not now," Henry said firmly.

"She’s dealing with too much. I’ll tell her later."

Peter regained control of the meeting.

"Let’s move on. Our next mission is to break out Colonel Zeke Haywood."

Mangino shifted in her seat, an uneasy expression creeping across her face.

"Infiltrating the Pentagon? Peter, you and Major Enki are public enemy number one."

Ruby shot back, her voice mocking.

“Well, you can always crawl back to the D.C. Metro Police and beg for a job as a meter maid.”

“Ruby, that’s enough,” Peter reprimanded, but a hint of amusement danced in his eyes.

“Focus. Time to show what we can do with our living mathematics. Chris, Ruby... are you ready?”

Chris nodded, excitement igniting within him.

"Let us calculate," Ruby added, a mischievous grin spreading across her face.

Peter began his thesis, laying out their ambitious plans.

"We will use Euler’s Formula to dynamically map Pentagon security protocols."

Ruby seamlessly expanded on the idea with precision, “Then we apply G?del’s Incompleteness Theorem to exploit logical gaps in their AI systems.”

Chris brought it to a crescendo, synthesizing their thoughts. "With Forward and Inverse Fourier Transforms, we’ll analyze and manipulate signal patterns, creating undetectable backdoors and disruptions. Meanwhile, Leibniz’s Monadology allows us to simulate individual perspectives, and the Cartesian grid will facilitate precise operational movements."

“With this plan, we’ll control essential functions and rescue Colonel Zeke Haywood without a drop of bloodshed,” Peter concluded, pride evident in his voice.

The room was filled with stunned silence, everyone awestruck by the possibilities they had just laid out. Mangino’s curiosity piqued as she absorbed the intricacies of their method. Yet, she understood this wasn’t merely breaking and entering.

"It's impressive... but how do we know it’ll work? This is the Pentagon, after all.”

Major Amma leaned toward Mangino, an intense look in her eyes.

“How do you think they found me with no tracking?”

Dr. Jenny listened in and smiled.

“No tracking you say? That is impressive!”

"Uh, guys," Candy's voice interrupted through the comm, laced with anxiety.

"I think something is happening in front of our house."

Peter quickly pulled up the footage from the Zimmermans' yard. An ominous sight met their eyes: four Humvees had pulled up, and soldiers were rapidly exiting, weapons drawn, preparing to storm the Zimmermans' house.

"Oh, that's very concerning," Ruby said, anxiety dripping from her voice as her eyes widened in disbelief.

“How did they find out about the Zimmermans?” Major Amma asked, her voice laced with extreme concern.

The tension in the room escalated as everyone exchanged glances, fear tightening their expressions.

"What matters now is that they found out," Peter stated, his tone firm and unwavering.

"Candy, are your parents awake, sweetie?"

"They went to sleep about forty-five minutes ago," Candy replied, her tone anxious.

  "Should I wake them?"

Peter considered briefly, processing the situation.

"That may not be necessary. You might be able to handle this one on your own. But you must follow my instructions precisely. I've triggered a little surprise with those cameras I gave you."

Candy's expression shifted from anxiety to intrigue.

“A surprise, Mr. Peter?” she asked, the corner of her mouth twitching into an impressed smile.

"I enabled it in case we faced a situation like this," Peter explained, his eyes gleaming with a mix of concern and mischief.

"Do you think you can handle it?"

Candy straightened her posture, a spark of determination igniting behind her eyes.

"What do you need me to do?"
