Former police investigator Miles Allen and now private investigator, juste moved to the city a month ago. Originally from New Jersey, he is still deeply affected by his divorce with his wife, which also led to the complete loss of his 12 years old daughter''''s custody, who he is now progressively losing contact with. Seeking a new beginning in this city of all hopes, he witnesses the explosion of the city''''s riots and protests everywhere New York. The population is revolted by the reveals of the mayor''''s death and corruption, accusing the political and social elites of using the system only for their own benefits. The upcoming elections for the mayor office is the subject everyone''''s talking about. Two candidates have emerged as the favourites for the post: Dean Anderson, the republican ex-assistant of the previous late mayor, a man without any scrupules who some believe is not innocent regarding the corruption scandal. The slightly favourite one according to the opinion polls is the democrats candidate Pedro Acosta, who launched his new campaign called "New Heaven". Promising to cleanse New York from all bribery, he is seen by many as the hero this city desperately needs.
