A rent has opened in our reality, drenching a city in power and energy, attracting dozens of the planet''''s most powerful people to its pull. These people, often called Sensitives, wield immense, seemingly supernatural control over all forms of energy, and they''''re not often inclined to play nice with each other. Follow a huge cast of POV characters, from regular people newly awakened to their powers to immortal demigods, as each of them vies for control and survival. This is not a game with a runner-up prize; only one person will be allowed to remain standing in the end, and whoever manages that feat will be left with the power of a god.
