Ethan dies mysteriously while creating his first virtual reality game. Upon waking, he finds himself in the life of someone with his same name, only younger and a little more handsome(?). Between existential fear and enthusiasm, Ethan tries to survive a world that will soon become chaotic, armed with the magic system he was designing before he died.
