The relaxed and joyful atmosphere on the raft was shattered by the resounding boom.
"What was that?"
"Thunder... no, it's not even raining!"
Everyone stood up, craning their necks to look in the direction of the sound.
They saw huge, thick trees crashing down, creating a tremendous commotion as they hit the ground.
That was the source of the sound they had heard.
Following the direction of the falling trees, they could vaguely see a thick, dark shape.
"What is that?" Liam's voice trembled, his eyes glazed over.
"Looks like... a snake?!" Cindy said hesitantly.
The four of them were bewildered.
"Oh no!" Liam, seeing the raft getting closer and closer to the dark shape, suddenly reacted and shouted, "Whatever it is, we can't get near it!"
"Paddle back, quick!" Cindy yelled.
Barely having caught their breath, the four of them were busy again, pushing their exhausted bodies and wielding their aching arms.
The paddles splashed in the water, creating small droplets.
But the raft was already going downstream, so paddling against the current was twice as hard.
Plus, they were all out of energy.
The paddles moved slower and slower.
With despair growing, they watched the raft drift closer to the dark shape.
The dark shape became clearer in their sight.
The giant python that appeared before them shattered their understanding of the world.
Its body, tens of meters long, looked like a mountain range coiled on the earth, and you couldn't see the end of it.
Its body was as thick as a bucket, making them question their lives.
Liam swallowed hard, bitterly saying, "Cindy, you jinxed it! It really *is* a snake!"
Cindy wanted to slap herself hard!
Girls are naturally afraid of snakes and stuff.
Especially a snake this big!
"Oh my god, if the government hadn't decreed that animals weren't allowed to become spirits after the founding of the U.S., it definitely could have become a formidable demon!" Henry exclaimed.
Ryan praised from the bottom of his heart, "As expected of Senior Jake, he can suppress hundreds of ghosts with a flip of his hand, and subdue great demons with another."
"That's right, he truly is an unparalleled expert!" Henry nodded.

At this moment, the two junior brothers felt their admiration for Jake flowing in their hearts like an endless river.
"You two daydreamers, stop talking nonsense! Think about what to do!" Liam was almost crying.
These two are always like this!
What is this, some kind of story from 20 years ago?
At this time, the giant python also noticed the people on the raft. It stuck out a scarlet tongue from its head that resembled a small hill, then plunged into the water and swam over.
"Holy crap!" Liam immediately climbed to the center of the raft, staring intently at the giant python's movements beneath the water.
Everyone sat back-to-back, clearly hearing each other's rapidly accelerating heartbeats.
However, this seemed to be just the beginning.
In the distance, a huge dark shadow suddenly appeared under the surface of the river.
Looking closer, it was a school of fish.
The fish in the school leaped out of the water one after another.
Opening their mouths as they jumped, you could clearly see the sharp teeth reflecting a cold light.
"Piranhas?" Liam stretched his neck and stared dumbfounded at the swarm of fish coming toward them.
"Look up there!" Henry pointed to the sky.
Several huge eagles circled directly above the raft.
"And there!" Cindy pointed to the depths of the dense forest.
The bushes rustled, and pairs of cold eyes emerged from within, silently watching the people on the raft.
Liam's scalp tingled. "Did we travel back to prehistoric times, or did we come to Jurassic Park?"
Now the four of them were completely at a loss.
How could they escape?
There was a giant python and piranhas in the water!
Eagles watched menacingly from above!
There were also a bunch of indescribable things hidden on the shore!
No matter where they ran, it seemed like a dead end.
The three people on the platform were stunned.
They had actually witnessed firsthand a desperate situation that they had only seen in survival movies!
Although Jake was prepared for what the four would encounter, he really didn't expect it to be this intense!
He underestimated the system's brutality.
"The saying 'art imitates life' is really true!" Mike exclaimed.
Ethan shuddered. "Mike, which creature do you think would kill you *more* quickly?"
Mike shook his head blankly.
And all the creatures around the raft began to attack!
The giant python jumped out of the water, and its thick body slammed into the raft.
The raft lifted off the surface of the water under the huge impact, shaking violently.
The giant python opened its bloody maw from time to time, suddenly lunging forward, trying to swallow the person closest to it.
Liam felt like he had been licked by the giant python a few times, but in the end, he wasn't swallowed.
Piranhas jumped out of the water one after another, their mouths snapping open and closed, revealing sharp teeth, wanting to bite off a piece of bloody flesh from the four of them.
The eagles in the air also began to swoop down, and their sharp claws passed over everyone's bodies with fierce gusts of wind.
"Ah!"
Liam closed his eyes, waving his hands wildly around himself to protect himself.
No matter what he touched, Liam would scream.
Even the two junior brothers, who practiced martial arts all year round, felt like they couldn't hold on any longer.
On the one hand, they had to stabilize themselves on the shaking raft, and on the other hand, they had to slap down the piranhas leaping out of the water, while also guarding against the eagles that suddenly attacked from the air.
At first, the two of them were able to handle it with some composure.
But as their spirits gradually tired, they quickly became like Liam, waving their hands and feet randomly.
"Senior brother, I haven't practiced this before!" Ryan shouted.
Henry replied, "Do you think I have?!"
The four people on the raft frantically prayed in their hearts that the raft would float faster, faster!
They were only afraid of being slow, not fast!
The raft seemed to have heard their pleas, and its speed increased, quickly leaving the giant python and the school of piranhas behind.
The eagles circling in the sky also left at some point.
The raft drifted quietly on the river, going downstream.
Having had this experience, the group did not dare to take the tranquility before them lightly.
Everyone nervously watched their surroundings.
Once there was any sign of movement, they would immediately overreact and scream.
"It's almost over," Jake said, stretching lazily and calling Mike and Ethan to take the cable car down.
"How do you feel about this Hyper Velocity Coaster?"
After everyone was seated, Jake asked.
Mike gave a thumbs up. "Just watching from up there feels more exciting than a survival movie, let alone playing on it!"
Ethan shouted, "Boss, the tourists are going to hate you!"
"I haven't even let the tourists play yet, how do you know they're going to hate me!" Jake replied, somewhat dissatisfied.
