November 1, 2018, the day when the entire world begins to turn around for the worse. A prelude to a true cataclysm and the beginning of another chapter.
After the events of the Shibuya Incident the day prior, tensions begin to slowly rise in Japan. Of course, no one knows what caused such a drastic disaster to unfold. They simply assume it was a terrorist attacking from some madmen. The Japanese government are currently researching and investigating this incident, trying to narrow down the cause. Many Cabinet members vigorously search on their computers and contact surrounding cities for information. Phones are ringing in single every corner. The cabinet members have to deal with the endless calls from civilians, their questions, and their accounts about their personal experience of the situation and anything else that may prove helpful.
“It was absolutely horrible! My sister that went to Shibuya for the Halloween night never came back home alive… Oh, what a tragedy!”
“My father-in-law traveled to Shibuya with my sister-in-law and I never saw them again. I managed to contact them for a few seconds and all I could hear was screaming, fighting, buildings being torn apart, until eventually my in-laws went down as well. *Sob* Oh, how horrible it all is. Those screams will forever be etched in my memory.”
“Why, I guess it was a good thing that I didn’t bother to go to Shibuya yesterday. I was planning to walk there from my apartment complex since I lived relatively close and a friend of mine was also there, but soon I saw the entire city fall apart and I thanked the gods that I was too late. I think it’s the United States that’s the cause of this. They’ve always been acting suspicious towards us!
Many of the civilian calls are like the ones previously mentioned. Of course, there are a good number of them that blame the United States for the “terrorism”, calling them suspicious and shady. Considering Japan and the United States aren’t exactly on good terms with each other, they had no one else to blame for this entire mess. The Prime Minister stresses over what course of action he should take. Japan can’t officially blame the United States if there is nothing to prove their malicious intent. Just having baseless accusations can lead to even more trouble. Was it perhaps another country that Japan was enemies with before? If so, that would take even more looking into.
*Damn it all! The country’s in shambles and we don’t even know what caused it. We lost a lot of people and a lot of money. What a massive blunder! It couldn’t have been another atomic bomb. The entire event lasted too long for it to be a bombing attack and no one reported seeing an aircraft dropping such a thing on top of Shibuya.*
Suddenly, as the Prime Minister and the government are racking their brains, finding a solution to their crisis, a mysterious man comes into the government building. He has stitches across his forehead, long black hair, and a certain attire that resembles a monk. The Prime Minister and several other government officials looks up from their work and look at the mysterious monk man. The monk man greets everyone with a soft smile and begins to speak.
“Apologies for my sudden intrusion. I am Suguru Geto. I’m sure you all are busy wrapping your heads about the recent developments, correct?”
“Where the hell did you come out of? how did you get past security?”, a cabinet member asks Geto. “Do you know of the cause for what happened yesterday in Shibuya?”
“You are correct. I just so happen to know what happened, and I’m willing to share it with you all,” Geto replies.
The Prime Minister thinks silently to himself. He and the several cabinet look at each other for a few moments before the Prime Minister gives a small gesture at Geto to continue with his words.
“What occurred yesterday was not by terrorist from another country. It was the work of jujutsu sorcery and cursed spirits,” Geto says.
“Jujutsu sorcery? Cursed Spirits? Prime Minister, sir, this man is totally insane!”, a cabinet members says.
“Explain this jujutsu sorcery or whatever you call it. I’m not convinced that what you’re saying is true, but let me hear more about this,” the Prime Minister says.
Stolen from its rightful place, this narrative is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“As you wish,” Geto says with a smile.
Geto proceeds to explain the world of jujutsu sorcery to the Prime Minister and the rest of the present government officials. He explains the birth of cursed spirits from the culmination of negative emotions and feelings in the masses of humanity as well as jujutsu sorcerers who exist to exorcise these cursed spirits. He also explains that they’ve been purposely off the radar because they are independent and do not rely on the government for assistance. The Prime Minister listens carefully, although not entirely convinced that Suguru Geto is speaking the truth. A whole side of the country that deals with the supernatural… that sounds like a plot for an action and horror movie. Once Geto finishes with his words, he bids everyone farewell and vanishes from the government building. However, he doesn’t stop there, as he travels around the rest of the world and informs all of the other major governments of the world about jujutsu. Just like Japan, the world is reluctant to believe such a thing from an unknown and shady character. But now that the world’s leaders know about jujutsu, how will they respond to this information?
Behind the scenes, Suguru Geto, or rather the person behind the persona, Kenjaku, is preparing to initiate his master plan of 1000 years: The Culling Games. The purpose of these Culling Games is to merge humanity with Tengen, a famous and essential aspect of Jujutsu society who also has a cursed technique of immortality and evolution, and create a single powerful cursed entity that will optimize cursed energy around the world. The reason for this? Kenjaku simply happened to grow a sense of curiosity and interest in the evolution of cursed energy. The Culling Games were planned so he can experiment on cursed energy to satisfy his curiosity of the matter. This was a large threat to not only Japan, but to the entire world beyond the country of islands. Soon on this day, Kenjaku succeeds in initiating the Culling Games across 10 colonies in Japan. Our team of heroes: Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Yuta Okkotsu, Maki Zen’in, Choso, Yuki Tsukumo, and Kinji Hakari collaborate to put a stop to Kenjaku’s nefarious vision of the new world.
Throughout the Culling Games, our heroes face many difficulties and adversaries that they must overcome. Some of them even struggle against their own personal challenges. For example, Maki and the Zen’in clan. The return of Naoya Zen’in, new sorcerers that have become vessels for the old, newly awakened jujutsu sorcerers, and the looming threat of Sukuna, the King of Curses, all threaten to stand in the way of the jujutsu sorcerer. Sukuna transfers from Yuji Itadori’s body to Megumi Fushiguro’s in the midst of the Culling Games. He joins up with Kenjaku to discuss the event of the great merger. Our heroes attempt to persevere through their ordeals and put an end to the Culling Games, Sukuna, and Kenjaku, nullifying the purpose of the Culling Games and stopping the Great Merger. However, this is a brand new possibility where things end up going wrong. What were to happen if the man behind it all were to succeed in creating the monstrous merger?
The purpose of the Culling Games was fulfilled. As soon as they end per the rules of the games, the ritual for the Great Merger in Tengen’s barriers officially begin. All of the cursed energy contents in Japan and over one hundred million non-sorcerers begin to form an amalgamation from all of the cursed energy that was collected. This amalgamation, the Great Merger, is now alive in Japan and will forever change the course of jujutsu history. As for our heroes, many have fallen in the battle against Kenjaku or have retreated elsewhere in despair of the reality they face. Kenjaku, now having created the Great Merger and fulfilling his plan, marvels at the sight of his creation.
“This is brilliant… utterly fascinating. Who could have guessed that jujutsu could ever reach such heights?”
.
.
Meanwhile, throughout the entire world, more and more tension is increasing. Many of the world’s armies were sent out to Japan due to Kenjaku’s tricks and ploys. Not only did the dead militaries serve as extra fuel for the merger, but it led to the rest of the world believing that Japan is an immense enemy. Many of the leaders got last minute reports about monsters attacking them, deformed creatures, and seemingly corpse like beasts destroying them. If such monsters were to make their way to the rest of the world, the future of the world may only contain destruction. However, some of the world leaders had the secret objective of monopolizing this cursed energy for themselves as a source of power. Now that jujutsu has been confirmed, they could harness such a thing to bring their land to further heights.

Many of the world’s militaries begin to team up to find a solution to deal with Japan’s crisis. They noticed that much of the population has seemingly disappeared with no logs or documents of travels. How could millions of people just vanish out of nowhere? And with the several reports they have about surreal creatures, they become desperate and decide to get rid of the country and the threat all together. In short, nuke Japan.
“This must be done! If the reports from our men are true, then we absolutely cannot afford to let those things on our land,” the president of the United States says.
“But let’s think about this a little more. If we attack Japan like this, we might be risking the lives of anyone that’s still present,” Canada’s Prime Minister replies
“But Japan’s Prime Minister has seemingly vanished along with several millions of his people. I doubt there’s anyone left. They must been killed by those monsters,” Australia’s Prime Minister says next.
After much debate and discussion, the leaders of the world proceed with the plan to nuke Japan. Several aircrafts from Ma y countries fly to the eastern seas and drop bombs on the country, destroying multiple cities and the landscape, effectively wiping out the country of Japan out of the map. The news of this event is somewhat muffled by the government, but of course there’s always a way that people find out.
