This is not a final draft. There will only be enough editing, maybe 20%, for me to feel comfortable posting it. That being said, I would recommend you come back when the final draft comes out... but if you don’t mind being a beta reader, please continue. I appreciate you and hope to one day repay you with the wealth I will no doubt get... I hope to avoid you venting your frustrations in the comments after I’ve wasted your time, so here are some more warnings to set your expectations. - I have no clue where this story is going. It is essentially a solo roleplay adventure that could end at any time for any reason. I promise, if I knew, I would tell you. - Currently I don’t have expectations for explicit content or a harem dynamic but I’ve added that tag because I would rather not blindside anyone when and if I change my mind. And now, on to the actual description. Which isn’t much. I’m seeking to explore an idea and to fill a desire. The idea is to be teleported to a garden of eden-esque place, or that is the seed of the idea. It has sprouted and changed, but remains roughly the same. The desire is ultimately for a deeper connection. Sad, but it is what it is. Tal starts out as some version of me, but quickly grows beyond that unfortunate beginning. Shellen is, well, that is part of the adventure, figuring out who she is. I’m forming expectations, but they are prone to change from moment to moment as I learn more about what is even going on. My overall intent is to avoid the standard wish fulfillment romantic interest. If she doesn’t feel like a “non-viewpoint” protagonist, then I’ve fallen short of that goal. So, a garden of eden that is now more like a lush evergreen forest, a guy, a girl, magic, romance, mystery, survival... what else is needed? Oh yeah, I have a companion “behind-the-scenes” series to this one that will serve as a chapter by chapter world bible and author’s commentary. I will try to avoid spoilers on the world bible half and will probably have spoilers galore on the author’s commentary half, but you don’t have to read that.
