In the wild west, there are tales of fame, glory, and renewal of life as people venture out for the gold rush. But me and my family... we only knew of hate, despair, and the abandoning of trust. Other stories from the indians speak of monsters, some that would only appear in dreams, some that only exist in dreams, and others who live like wild beasts when they were once men. My journal from back then is a story, a synopsis, of my experiences in the west... and my eventual descent into madness.
