Filler Chapter 1: “Wait… What’s the Hacker Girl’s Name?!”

Filler Chapter 1: "Wait… What’s the Hacker Girl’s Name?!"1. The Sudden Realization That Haunts MeIt happened two weeks after we saved the world.

I was sitting at my desk, enjoying my so-called normal high school life.

Mikasa was next to me, flipping through a textbook, pretending she actually studied.

The hacker girl—our former chaotic ally—was sitting in front of us, typing away on her ptop like usual.

  Everything was peaceful.

  And then—

  It hit me.

  Like a truck.

  Like a meteor.

Like the full weight of my own stupidity.

  I slowly turned to Mikasa.

And in the softest, most horrified whisper, I said—

  "…What’s her name?"

  Mikasa blinked.

  "Whose name?"

  I swallowed.

  Pointed at the hacker girl.

  Mikasa stared.

  Then blinked again.

  Then—

  Her eyes widened.

  …She didn’t know either.

We had spent months fighting alongside this girl.

  Risking our lives together.

  Surviving impossible battles.

  And yet—

We had never asked for her name.

A cold sweat ran down my back.

  Mikasa’s eye twitched.

  We looked at each other.

  Then at her.

  Then back at each other.

  Crap.

  2. The Impossible Mission BeginsMikasa leaned in.

"Okay. We can’t just ask her now."

  I nodded.

  "Yeah. That’d be weird."

  "She’d know we forgot."

  "She’d judge us forever."

We both turned to look at her.

The hacker girl was completely oblivious, focused on her ptop.

Typing. Smirking. Probably hacking into some government database just for fun.

We had to be smart about this.

Operation: Find Out Hacker Girl’s Name Without Asking Like Complete Idiots had begun.

  Step one: Check Her Laptop.

I leaned forward, trying to peek at her screen.

  She instantly turned it away.

  I leaned back.

  Mikasa smirked.

  "Wow. That was pathetic."

  I gred.

Step two: Listen for Someone Else Saying Her Name.

  We waited.

  Listened.

  Nothing.

Not a single person in this school said her name.

  Was this girl a ghost?

Did she even have a name?!

  I started panicking.

Step three: Find Her Student ID.

I watched as she reached into her bag.

  She pulled out a notebook.

  Some snacks.

  A screwdriver??

  But no ID.

  I turned to Mikasa.

  Mikasa turned to me.

Mikasa whispered, "We are so screwed."

  I nodded.

  3. The Moment of TruthAfter a full day of absolute failure, I was out of ideas.

  Mikasa had given up.

  I was losing my mind.

  And then—

The hacker girl suddenly turned to us.

  She smiled.

  And said—

"You guys are acting weird today."

  I froze.

  Mikasa froze.

  The hacker girl grinned.

"You forgot my name, didn’t you?"

  Crap.

  Crap.

  CRAP.

  I panicked.

I blurted out the first thing that came to mind.

  "OF COURSE NOT, UH… HACKY… HACKER… QUEEN?"

  Silence.

  Mikasa facepalmed.

The hacker girl stared at me.

  Then—

  She ughed.

  Like, full-on, uncontrolble ughter.

After what felt like an eternity, she wiped a tear from her eye and smirked.

  "Wow. You guys are idiots."

  I slumped in my seat.

  Mikasa groaned.

  The hacker girl leaned forward.

"My name," she said, "is Rika."

  I blinked.

  Mikasa blinked.

  Then I yelled.

"THAT’S IT?! WE WENT THROUGH ALL THAT STRESS FOR A NORMAL NAME LIKE RIKA?!"

  Rika grinned.

  "Yep."

  I colpsed.

  Mikasa sighed.

  "Unbelievable."

  Rika patted my head.

"Don’t worry, Yuuji. I’ll still be your Hacker Queen if you want."

  I died inside.

  Mikasa ughed.

  And just like that…

  Our normal life continued.

  …Somehow.
