Hilda ran, carrying Shila in her arms, the hell hounds quickly gaining on them despite Hilda using mana and Shila using field magic along with her leech.
“Run!” Shila shouted, hurting Hilda.
“What makes you think I can run faster?!”
“You better or we’ll die before Miss Succubus even has the chance to open the cave up for us!”
“Use trait dammit, use it!”
Notifcatio—
Hilda quickly closed the notification as she increased her agility state, increasing her speed, but not being able to outrun the hellhounds.
“Seriously?! If I run any faster, my trait will won’t be able to take too much more!”
“Then fight, we just need one anyway, they have low mental resistance.”
“Why didn’t you tell me this before?”
“Because, if we fail in the first second, we’ll be dead the second.”
Hilda kept running, turning around to see how far the hellhounds were and the cave.
“Dammit, we really won’t be able to reach.”
“Hilda turned around, placing Shila on the ground as she blocked an attack from a hellhound, which tried to leap at her, sending it away as it steadied itself before running at her again.
Hilda concentrated, using her mental magic on every one of them, trying to use obedience magic but failing severely before switching to mental attacks immediately, her mana draining rapidly due to the hellhound’s numbers, strength, and persistent resisting.
Hilda ran at them as Shila used leech in an attempt to slow down Hilda’s mana loss. Hilda managed to use sword qi on her sword, cutting off the head of the hellhound which attacked her previously.
“Haha! Revenge!”
Hilda waited to be sent back to the 46th floor before receiving another notification, which, in her opinion, ‘warning’ would have been a better description for it.
Notification.

“What…?”
Hilda and Shila both turned to look at the hellhounds, which are no longer being held back by Hilda’s mental attacks and are much angrier and determined due to the mental attack and the death of a member of their pack.
“H-Hilda, I think we need to run…” Shield tugged Hilda’s sleeves as the hellhounds began to approach slowly, reading to pounce on Hilda and Shila at any time.
“Right.. Just a problem… I have nearly no mana left, I can’t boost my speed, and my speed boost ran out.”
“Crap.”
They both began to run as the hellhounds chased after them, quickly gaining speed on them.
“Shila…”
“Hilda…”
“It’s been nice knowing you.”
“You too.”
The hellhounds pounced at them as Hilda prepared to attempt to block their attacks, but a shield appeared in front of them in time, bouncing them off.
“Litah?” Hilda said, both of them turning back to find Litah standing there with an arrogant grin.
“Now, who's going to kill who?”
“How did you get strong enough to easily block their attacks when your shield was so pathetic just now?”
“They were not,” She grumbled softly.
“And, I was on the verge of making my shields much stronger. The growth skill gave me the boost I needed.”
“Oh, okay, thanks, I suppose.”
“Well, I suppose bye now,” Shila said, confusing Hilda and Litah.
“Huh? What do you me—”
Hilda and Shila both got teleported back to the 46th floor halfway through while Liath was talking.
“Congratulati—” The cultist dressed in red tried to say before Hilda teleported to him and punched him, knocking him down.
“Okay, that was deserved,” He admitted, standing back up. “But hey, at least now we know you are suitable for this.”
“Just shut up and tell me what you want.”
“Sure, sure.”
“Recently…” He started off. “We have been researching a weapon to be used, but due to the high probability of the 50th floor potentially opposing us, we had to smuggle it.”
“Get to the point,” Hilda said, crossing her arms as she tapped her finger on her elbow.
“We lost it.”
“The weapon?”
“No, the blueprint, which some could argue is a bigger loss.”
“This is because you're idiots. How were you even trying to smuggle it?”
“Well, we've got a noble to do it for us. A duke,” He paused, trying to recall the duke’s name. “Lialet!” He said out loud, snapping his fingers as he recalled it.
“Huh? Who?”
“Well, he passed the job off to a Marquess, then the Marquess to his daughter…”
“Daughter?” Hilda thought to herself. “Wait… Isn’t that the daughter I robbed and made a bunch of weird threats?! The embarrassment of my life…” Hilda covered her face, trying to forget the moment, confusing the cultist.
“So that means that…” Hilda turned to Shila, who bought a piece of paper, a pen, and a drawing skill, drawing out the blueprint.
“Is this it?” Shila asked, passing the paper to the cultist, who was surprised, rolling it up and keeping it.
“Indeed! You are truly our saviour!”
“You’re welcome,” Shila said with a straight face, causing Hilda to turn over to look at her.
“...”
Hilda sighed.
“Why do you call me saviour? Seriously…”
“We believe technology is the way to obtain true immortality, while those idiots on the 50th floor believe technology is the devil's work, which is… Not true, although we work with demons sometimes. And you are our key to killing the level 50 idiots. Don’t worry, we don’t believe in free things, so you’ll of course get payment.”
“Nice.”
“So, what are you going to do with the blueprint?”
“Build the weapon.”
“To… Do what?”
“Attack the 50th floor.”
“Oh. Can’t you mass-produce it?”
“Well, no. It’s expensive to make a single one and we aren’t exactly swimming in points while amid a war here, y’know?”
“But, if you had the points, you could?”
“Indeed so.”
“Swo, you could give me one when you create it?”
“Yeah, as long as we don’t suffer too big a loss.”
“Reasonable.”
Shila hugged Hilda’s arm suddenly, confusing her as pulled her back.
“Can you make a training room for her? She needs to get past the limit restriction.” Shila spoke up, confusing him for a moment before answering.
“As long as our losses aren’t too much, why not?”
“Good enough.”
“Hilda,” Shila said, turning to Hilda.. “I’m bored, hurry and get past the limit so we can have Jamine back already.
